Super Blood Hockey

The gameplay is lovely. Pure arcade fun, great for quick blasts. A little on the easy side against the CPU (At least so far I've been winning with no difficulty, scores of 10-0 are common). I can see it being a LOT of fun playing 2x2 with friends. Now the "Franchise" mode (which is the career mode) is.... annoying. I would prefer to have a simple menu interface instead of having to move in a RPG alike world where if I want to change a player training I first must find where he is, and then managing 5 to 10 players at once becomes a frigging nightmare chore. But all in all, very worth if you are getting it on a sale.

If you've ever played Ice Hockey for the NES (yes I'm ancient) you will absolutely love this game. It's a hockey game, with blood, guts and absolute mayhem. Franchise mode goes deep. It's just fun. It's a great co-op couch game. Pick it up on sale for 90% off and you're laughing.

Super Blood Hockey isn’t the deepest game you’ll ever play, but it might be the most hilarious. Knocking down players and starting a brawl is by far the most fun you’ll have in this game. You’ll also find the hockey gameplay quite enjoyable. Good, smooth movement. The AI can be easily exploited with passing across the goalie for a quick score, and once you’ve played a few games you’ve basically played all of them. Still, a lot of good fun for the afternoon and it’s still well worth the price.
