About This Game

Long ago, a war raged between two powerful deities. Each was sealed away, their weapons scattered throughout the world. Our hero in this RPG, Fang, happens upon one such weapon and now he alone must choose which deity will awaken again!

This is a fun little game, albeit with a terrible port. Being brief if you aren't an enthusiast of both computers and JRPGs, you could easily skip this title/port. Ignore the hours logged; I played this one and the original on console and probably have about 70-100 between them. The game itself is a fun little one-off JRPG with turn-based mechanics, three main endings with a few sub-endings, hidden characters, sub-events, and a lot of backtracking/revisiting for the basic quest system. The writing's fairly simple, and the game isn't genre-defining, but I did enjoy it back when the original and this re-release came out. The much more glaring issue about this game is this port, because damn does it have issues. The frame rate is capped by default at 60 in the game's ini file and has no option in the actual game menu to alter it. For good reason too, because raising it results in a slew of visual bugs.
