Emily is Away Too

Loved the first game so really wanted this to be good, but... I don't know. Very nice selection of music, and I liked the addition of the fake youtube and facebook pages. The mechanic just felt a bit too, well, mechanical this time. Odd to reduce relationship success to 1) having three basic things in common, 2) consistency in answers and 3) replying to people in less than a second. It's not a great model, but then, they are meant to be teenagers in the late 2000s, and god knows I was similarly irrational and overreactive. Just expected a bit more depth somehow?

game was fun until i was punished for helping a girl feel a little less alone in a shitty situation and called a manipulator and genuinely went insane, 3.5/5

I played the first one (Emily is Away<3) and I can say that this is such a great sequel! It's very immersive and it definitely made me feel what the game wanted me to feel. After playing both games though, despite Emily being the name on the title, I am always choosing Evelyn. I think the only negative thing I noticed her is that typing seemed slower than the previous game? But overall, great game!

OMFG! what an amazing gameee!!! i loveee how its in the style of like aol or similar, and the story is just so interesting it just pulled me in so fast. plusss i adore the characters in this, aaand just how deep it simulates the 2000s. this is defo 1 million percent a must play
