Loot Or Die! is AWSOME! kinda simplistic on the graphics side but, if you are a player that can get over it, this game can be really fun! Its controls are easy to learn, difficult to master. so far no controller support. I got this game for under $2, had i realized how much I'd be playing it, I'd have payed double! The dev's have engineered a fairly indepth equipment system (many guns, Armours, helmets, and rings) and made it even better by giving some of them magic enhancements. If the Developers stick with this game and keep Expanding/Upgrading/Improving this game, this could actually end up being one of my favorites on STEAM! This game is easily worth the $2 bucks they are asking for it. If you catch it on sale you'd be silly to pass it up! For an inexpensive game I'd give it an 8/10.

About This Game
Overview
Do you like plundering and looting the universe with friends? Loot or Die will have you traveling to far off planets in search of, you guessed it, all the loot you can get your hands on. But be warned! The stronger you get the fiercer your enemies will become. That's why you must Loot or Die!
Features 84 Unique Items
Loot or die features powerful weapons, armor, and re-usable 'rings' which you can equip in any combination to fit your play-style. Will you equip armor that steals the life from our opponents as you damage them? Or will you find armor that reduces the cooldowns of your rings; enabling you to spam doom blades at your foes? Perhaps you'll decrease your reload speed to the point that your rifle becomes a machine gun. The choice is yours, and Loot or Die is all about making tough choices fun.
8 Item Bonus Stats
Every item you find has a small chance to roll a bonus stat. You could combine these into unique setups or choose to focus on just one.
Health Per 10 Seconds: Just what it says; every 10 seconds you get a percentage of your life back. Better with high life armor.
Movement Speed: At maximum (50%) you will literally be as fast as a bullet. Useful for jumping far distances as well as avoiding damage.
Reload Speed: Increases how fast you reload as well as as fast you recover from shooting too much. Insane with an already high speed gun.
Cooldown Reduction: Rings recharge faster, allowing you to spam them more in combat.
Critical Hit Chance: Every attack gains a chance to deal 150% damage. Applies to ring attacks as well.
Life Steal: Attacks have a 20% chance of returning life to you based on the damage dealt.
Magic Find: Increases the chance that items will roll a bonus stat.
Lucky Heal: Chance to restore 33% of your life when you take damage. More effective against numerous weak attacks.
Heart Bonus: Picking up hearts from your enemies will now grant more life. At max (50%) you will recover 80% of your life!
Game Modes
Loot or Die features several unique game modes to challenge your mind and your reflexes.
PvE
Normal game mode. Take on new challenges as you work your way through each planet.
PvP
See how good your loot really is against actual players! Up to 8 can fight in several multiplayer maps.
Defend the Flag
Having trouble finding a ring? Not to worry as Defend the Flag always rewards you with a legendary ring for winning.
Home
Take a break to access your vault, turn in quests, and upgrade your gear with tokens.
End Game
Just because you defeated everything this game could throw at you does not mean that your adventure is over! You can greatly improve your character by completing quests and using the anvil at your home. This will enable you to farm even better loot and challenge your friends in PvP. Going back to earlier levels will now penalize you with reduced damage and health, making farming more challenging than the first time through the game. You literally could play forever, creating unique armor sets for every combat situation you could ever think of.
Thank You
This entire game was developed by one person. The art (I know I suck!), programming, level design, testing, etc. I want to one day be a great game designer, but I only want to develop games that people really enjoy. With your support I know I can achieve my goals, but most importantly, I hope that you have fun playing Loot or Die.
Please let me know if anything isn't working for you. My twitter is @foldberg1.
Good luck! Try to Loot or Die!

Great game! The game was originally on xbox 360 and it was ported very well for people coming from there. -a variety of levels -PvP and PvE -Defend the flag mode -only boss mode -Many, many guns -and many, many pieces of armor that can make run as fast as sonic or steal as much life as dracula -I can run like sonic -Rings with unique abilities for every play style And overall just a great community. All of this for just 2 dollars? This is a MUST BUY for any new comers or even veterans coming from the xbox. It was great then, and it's great now :) 9/10 would run like sonic again.
11/10 would press escape again in the middle of a level

fun game concept, but is a nightmare to work with when you have multiple monitors. Also no options to change resolution or fix audio settings
Pure platformy goodness with alot of loot and bright simple art style. I'm having alot of fun so far. If the dev had added a map editor I'd pay $10 for this but for $2 you more than get your $'s worth. 10/10 for this type of game. Make a sequel Dev, add a map editor (maybe an enemy editor or weapon editor) and take more of my money. ;)
Greetings! This game is awesome, I highly recommend it! Start off with basic gear, kill things and farm loot! Standard equipment slots with 2 accessories. The accessories are really cool, basically special abilities you find on each planet (heal, teleport, jump boost, etc). Magic find goes up the more you kill, and you can find augmented items (lifesteal, health regen, movement speed, etc). Sound effects are well done, and the music goes along perfectly. I like the design of the monsters, they are unique to their worlds so it's a really cool dynamic. Gameplay is what you would expect from a side-scroller shooter, highly addictive! The AI steadily gets more difficult and has lots of variations from each monster. Boss fights are epic! I had to really plan my build and strategize to beat them. Bring a friend! The Co-op is really fun too. I love jumping into a game to help clear a level or kill a boss. You can have up to 4 people in a match, the enemy's health ...
A great game if you want 2d awesome action for multiplayer and singleplayer!
simple grahpics great co-op and smooth frames with little to complain about. seems like a good pick me up if u got friends or are just bored with all the complicted games and want something simple and fun to just play with no worries about skill and just want to shoot some stuff. for just one dollar though i would recomeend it, bc it seems like it is very well priced for the product you will be getting.
Pretty okay game for being under $2. There are some issues like the mouse not being contained within the game and no resolution options but the potential for a great game is there. Pros: - Good looting system. - Rouge-like - Cheap (At the time of this review) - Easy to pick up and play Cons: - No resolution options - Mouse not contained within game (Can be remedied with 3rd party programs) - Game can freeze on black screen when tabbed out - Defaults to fullscreen. - "Meh" Graphics All in all I'd give it a 6/10. For less than $2 I think it will be worth it so long as the devs keep updating the game.
