https://youtu.be/lewal9JtyOY Welcome to the VR McCree Simulator, where it's always... HIGH NOON! Quick Draw puts you in the shoes of an old west gunslinger who spends his days having shootouts with ruffians. However it sounds much more exciting that it actually is... It got repetitive really quickly. More so than most wave based games. There was no indication that it was going to end, just continue spawning new enemies. Reloading was tedious and forced you to holster one weapon at a time. More realistic, yes. More fun, not really. At 4.99, your mileage may vary. It's definitely not for me and I don't see me playing it but it could wow others. I think I'm more on the No side on this one though. Really, the lack of gameplay variety and the slow repetitive pace are what push it over the edge from being borderline to No.

lol, that's a funny game! i immediately felt immersed in this cartoony looking wild west city. holstering, then drawing your 2 big guns and blast away is a very satisfying experience. can't wait for multiplayer and well worth the 4 bucks i paid.
I would play more of this game today however, I am ill so I cannot. Anyway from the time I have played so far here is my experience with Quick Draw. It is something different, there are a lot of games for the VIVE where you just stand and shoot.. boring right? Quick Draw is well, that but it adds something new to it with the wild west setting and the fact you have to draw your weapon at the same time. I was immersed into this game, even putting on a fake accent and physically pretending to be in a move or something (I'm a streamer, not a crazy person). Anyway it was a lot of fun to play and something I have never tried before. The game is not perfect though, after a while it can get repetitive, this is because of the lack of gamemodes in the game, at the moment there are only 2 gamemodes. A shooting range time trial and the 1v1 quick draw, there will soon be an online feature which I am very excited for but at the moment the game is very limited. I would say for the price it is OK ...
Fun little shooter at a great price! It's nice being able to adjust the holster height to fit your needs. Difficulty seems spot on and will probably make a great multiplayer experience when that releases. Note: You reload by spinning/touching the barrel with your offhand apparently. At least that's what MANTRONIX told me in the forums.
Great game with fun visuals. Its one of those perfect quick play games that you can jump right into. Within a few minutes I was in the game and playing. Easy to figure out and a fun concept. Looking forward to the multiplayer.
This could have been a fantastic game. The guns work well, the reloading is perfect, the wild west setting is nicely done...BUT... I bought this because I wanted to relive the Clint Eastwood gunfights against one, two or more players. It seems to offer this in the 'Defend The Town' option...BUT...IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO LOSE A GUNFIGHT, even against 3 GUNFIGHTERS. In 32 separate waves I encountered 1, 2, or 3 baddies in each case. But in every case they took at least 3 seconds to fire even a single shot shot, giving me more than enough time to fire as many bullets as I wanted. Even worse, when they do eventually start shooting, not a single shot is on target. Not one. Even if I fire my bullets at the ground or refuse to fire at all, I did not get shot once in over 30 waves. It's inexplicable, but there it is. It looked like someone had finally created a viable gunfighting game, but with no possibility of getting shot, what's the point?
Fun little game for testing your reactions and aim. Liking the cartoony feel to it, would benefit from a few more scenes but I'm sure the Dev is working on that. Looking forward to multiplayer & testing my reactions against real people. Suggestions: [*] The ruffians rag doll physics could do with some attention. Sometimes they act like they're a balloon and the air has been released. Although this did provide some comedy moments for me :-D [*] Ambient sound is almost like being in silence, could do with either some low western style music in the background, or more ambient sounds. Also could hear the ambient soundtrack stop and start with a gap in between, should loop seamlessly. [*] Instead of the eagle noise being the start of the round when shooting the ruffians, maybe the ruffians could shout "DRAW!" Obviously the depth of the sound would need to be accurate. [*] When using the pointer whilst holding the gun, it would be handy if the gun didn't fire, would have saved me ac...
this is my first review. this game is simple yet fun! all you can expect in a quick draw simulation game. I highly recommend this game as it is a very fair price and a lot of fun! plus the developer is putting out updates regularly.
Cartoony graphics work well Option to change height of holster Fun now but will be awesome with multiplayer. It's not apparent how to reload your guns. Audio effects are lacking, looks but doesn't sound like High Noon yet.
Nice game with a lot of potential. Not clear how to reload. Hope that will be fixed soon.
