Hail Caesar! Starting as governor of a newly formed province in the Roman Empire your goal is simple: advance up the empire's political ladder to become the next Caesar. I got the game just to see if it runs in Windows 11 due to bad reviews about that. There is a registerdll.bat file in the C4 dir, run it as admin and then load the game. It runs just fine in 4k.

After some finagling I managed to get the game running. My opinion? Great game! It's difficulty is not comparable to III. While the original felt like an excel spreadsheet with barbarians, this one feels like a game of Tetris. Difficulty comes from trying to fit all of the buildings into a place, not from being overwhelmed by needs for everything and bankrupcy. In fact, I have never gone bankrupt in this game. Not even to get the first stimulus check.
