It actually works fine in Rift but the bowling is crazy fast. Even a spinner is bowling it down almost faster than you can see. I play cricket for real and i'm not a bad batsman but these deliveries are insanely fast. If they just slowed it down a bit it could be a really good game. Some graphics settings would be nice too. *update* I just want to add that I had a great session just now by going into the nets and changing the bowling settings to slow. It's still too fast compared to real life slow bowling but suddenly I was playing actual cricket shots and the ball (when hit) was reacting how it should. It felt great and like an actual training session. I then go back into the match/challenges and the same bowling type (slow) is crazy fast again, meduim bowling is insane and fast is just ridiculous. Is this speed a bug? Please Devs, slow ALL the bowling down. This game is SO CLOSE to being brilliant but is basically unplayable in the normal modes due to the crazy fast bowling. Also,...

A very enjoyable and realistic batting challenge for any cricket fan with more features being added all the time. * Best VR Cricket Game You Should Buy * http://www.zeeshanarshad.com/topic/611/htc-vive-best-vr-cricket-game Update (Nov 7, 2017): Amazing....that's absolutely #1 VR cricket game now which has to be bought for any cricket lover who own Vive. I checked new features of animated fielders, net practice and they are so much interesting. Specially the Scenario challenges. Now it gives something to beat :) Update (Nov 2, 2017): I don't regret at all even though I had bought it few months ago based on its best gameplay over other crickets, when there was not even a single update message. And, now developers are bringing an update soon with their announcement. Goodluck. - Original Review - This is the only BEST cricket on vive which I play and really enjoy and if an update is coming (as developer confirmed me too) with animated fielders and further improvements then it will the best vr cricket game for vive as of now. I checked many other cricket games on vive, they are either piece of cart...
Sutch a great game and I can't wait for it to expand in the future
I am concerned that the ball speed issue has been mentioned on numurous reviews {some quitre a few months old}, yet no attempt has been made to rectify it. I love cricket games, but the speed is just too fast. The game looks great, but is un playable for me in its current state.
Good game, works with Oculus Rift. but here are some issues 1) crazy speed. Need to slow down bowling. 2) Ball goes through bat handle. 3) Facing position should be customizable. Very uncomfortable batting position for me. 4) Batting feedback should be there when knocking the ground and hitting the ball. 5) Bat looks like a toy. Bat should be wider, bigger. 6/10 stars, but its the best cricket game that I have seen on vr.
The best cricket game now for VR. Hope the devs keeps improving the game.
Rubbish...Not worth the money. Should be around £1.50.
DO NOT BUY IF YOU HAVE OCULUS RIFT S <- DEVELOPERS PLZ - Game is so good but it doesn't work on the Rift S so I can't play it anymore. Developers Plz I want to smack balls
EDIT~ Since the update this game has improved massivley.Well done devs. Bat length better although grip still very slightly high. Addition of new modes and outdoor net is great. Only real issues left for me now would be probably facing spin. medium spin is essentialy an 80mph seaming delivery with bouncers. This makes it impossible to play shots against this bowling and very hard to complete some of the spin based challenges. No wides given for wide bowls aswell. Other than that its fantastic and still play 3 - 4 times a week. ~ I have never written any kind of review for any game i own, and the reason why i am writing one for this is due to how passionate i am about cricket :-) and i would love the devs to make a couple of small changes. Firstly.. would i recommend this game?? yes i would! Are there issues ..... yes there are. I think the main issue for me with this game is that the bat is very unrealistic. Length of bat is ridiculous and general position that you hold th...
Updated review Recent updates have really propelled Balls! into the premier league of VR cricket games. This is also a fun game to play and puts you front and centre against some seriously good bowling. Barring a few issues, i.e. no sound for when your bat hits the floor and your hands being a little too high on the bat handle, the batting action is spot on. There are also lots of great scenarios to play. The developers are listening and are responsive, and provided these and a few other minor issues are sorted out then this game will be for me, easily the number one VR cricket game and a must have for any sports orientated VR owner. Original review I really enjoyed the limited time I have spent playing so far and with the promise of a significant update very soon I am happy to give this a big thumbs up.
