ADHD: Trackher is a single-player split-screen [strike]shoot-em up[/strike] [strike]twin-stick shooter[/strike] classic-arcade style game. At first, it's fairly simple. Shoot enemies in a top-down vertical shooter on the left, collect resources and materials and avoid danger on the right. At the time of writing, it appears most of the gameplay takes place on the right. The player can completely ignore the left side of the screen, though not destroying enemies will significantly increase the difficulty on the right, as the enemies can actually cross from the left screen to the right, and the right screen ship has no weapons or defense of its own! Each level, or "Tear" is increasingly difficult, but more rewarding. Additional enemies and hazards, as well as point bonuses, appear. Tear 3 is by far the most difficult but fun experience you will have in the entire game. You continue as usual, but your screens may flip upside down, your controls may reverse, or your screens may even swap si...

About This Game

THE DEVIL IS IN THE DETAILS
THIS GAME IS CHALLENGING AND DOES NOT HOLD YOUR HAND AS YOU MIGHT EXPECT IT TO. PAY ATTENTION, PACE YOURSELF, AND TAKE YOUR TIME. THE DEVIL IS IN THE DETAILS. WATCH THE VIDEOS ABOVE, IN GAME, OR JOIN THE DISCORD. THIS GAME DOES NOT SUPPORT KEYBOARD AND MOUSE. IT IS DESIGNED AROUND A GAMEPAD. IN THE MEANTIME YOUR OTHER OPTION IS TO REQUEST A REFUND. I WON’T GET MAD ;)
CAPITAL LIST LEADHERBOARDS - The primary goal is to get a high score, however the only way to keep your score is to extract with it. You cannot play till death. If you die, not only do you wipe your current score, you risk the chance of wiping your leaderboard position as well. How you ask? The lower your health the higher the bonus the greater the risk. Every time you extract your score is marked. Why you ask? Why not?
SPLIT SCREEN SINGLE PLAYER TWIN STICK RISK ‘EM UP - You will be controlling two ships simultaneously. The devil is in the details. The left side is invincible, however shooting and moving consumes your LINK. In order to restore it you must recover MATERIAL on the right side. MATERIAL multiplies your overall score so use it with absolute discretion. On the right side you are recovering resources and will need 12 PARTS to extract and mark your leaderboard position. Don’t doubt yourself. Push yourself. You will be rewarded and you will be tested.
TEARS - Each Tear consists of new challenges with hella bonuses attached to them. Focus, overcome, and survive.
If you want a challenge you came to the right place.

The game's premise and tone sold me. It's execution entrapped me. It shows I only played .3 hours here. Trust that I've put many, many, MANY more hours into the Switch version of this game. This game is pure arcade madness/bliss, and is the concept of "Risk Vs Reward" distilled into its purest, rawest form, with shiny lights and bells on. It's a hell of a thing. In 31 years of life I've never once cared about my video-game score or leaderboard position. Then Trackher came along and told me it was meaningless. Now I care. If you see my name of the boards - remember me. If you don't - forget me, for I wasn't worth remembering.
This game is unlike anything I've ever played. When I first came across it my initial thought was , wut?. But once I learned exactly what it was and got my hands on the game it all made sense. This game requires total focus as you try to build your score because if you die, it's meaningless and you lose it all! The music is upbeat and catchy which definitely sets the vibe for the game and the little witty comments that pop up on screen when a game modifier is active give plenty of chuckles. I would highly recommend this game for anyone who wants something different and challenging!
After meeting Jaycee (The developer of the game) at the El Paso Comic Con in 2019, I was taken away by his game and the work he put into it. After saving up some cash, I finally decided to get this game, and boy was it worth it. Trackher will test you willpower and strategy as you climb the leaderboard to achieve the number 1 score. PROS ---------- - Fun to play - Addictive - Easy to learn, hard to master CONS ---------- - Game only supports controller (however that is due to gameplay restrictions)
super addictive
Gameplay is hard to describe besides unique, and deeply underrated. I'm glad the dev finally got justice in being able to get a full release after a rough path. I only wish for them to sell more copies and that others get to play this great game, maybe this review helps.
This is an increadibly fun and engaging game. Even though it is still being developed there is a latge amount of effort put into making the grate game available for a rather decent price. I admitedly had never heard of th egame untill I spent a weekend in PAX South where I admitedly spent a large amont of time playing this game. By no means was I a greate player but the developer spent a good portion of time explaining to me the way the controls work as well as giving me tips and triks to improve my escores and experience playing. Thanks to this I was able to quicly progres into confortab,y laying tear 3 in only two days with limmited game time. I am also exstatic that the game is being released on the nintendo switch. This game is a hidden gem in the proces of being fully pulished and I am honestly happy to be able to watch it grow. I sevearely recomend if you like chalenging games, love to punish yourself when gaming, enjy cleaver referenses and over all good games. 8/10 (Becasue it...
There's a bit of a learning curve here, but it's well worth it for the sheer mind-bendy score-attack goodness.
hard game play but super fun once you get used to it.
So you think you're great at multitasking, huh? A Duel Hand Disaster is here to put your hands to the test. Using two thumbsticks on a controller, you're tasked with controlling a ship on the left screen (dubbed "HR-D") that can shoot up enemies for points and guiding a ship on the right screen (dubbed "DF-R") that goes around collecting material to boost your score and parts to unlock more abilities for itself. HR-D is invincible but DF-R isn't. The numerous fireballs roaming around are tricky enough but if you neglect to kill enemies on the left side and let them get past you, they'll spawn in on the right side and cause more havoc for DF-R. The main goal of the game is to "extract," which is done by collecting 12 parts and then holding down two buttons simultaneously for a certain amount of time. Dying before or during extraction will bring your score down to zero and that's it, run's over. You also don't have to extract right away if you're looking to land a good spot on the leader...
