This is one of those great arcade games which are perfect for 10-30 minute quick plays. Global high-scores are integrated seamlessly, and it's really easy and fun to compete with your steam friends and community. Gameplay is very original, it looks like snake, but you use your tail to take out increasingly difficult waves of enemies, and maximising your combo scores. Graphics and animations are fun and lively, and the purple triangle critter commenting on your games adds a humorous twist. Definitely recommentded

About This Game
Combining trippy visual effects and coffee-break sized bytes of hardcore action, Conga Combat can be played solo in either arcade or survival mode. Arcade plays like a typical coin-op, with the player starting from the beginning each game, jumping from dimension to dimension by achieving the ever-growing kill-quota on each stage. Alternatively, the 'pure' survival mode sees the player facing an endless horde of increasingly aggressive geometric critters in a single arena for as long as they can.

With the plethora of popular worm-style.io browser games the internet is awash in, this game takes the core idea and warps it into a fantastic arcade style pixel art throwback. The premise is simple, dodge all enemies and take them out with your trailing tail. Trailing your tail through the purpleoid X's charges up your lazor cannon, which allows you to sweep the arena clean of baddies. Overall its a solid and entertaining indie title, and I hope it doesn't stay criminally overlooked in the modern sea of Steam titles.
OH MY GOD this game is amazing. How does nobody know about it? Totally worth full price. Music 10/10 Graphics 10/10 Gameplay 10/10 Controls 9/10 (a little slippery for me, but that's part of the challenge)
a colorful, unique game. it takes a little bit of practice to get the hang of it since it's so different. once you get into the swing of things (i seriously recommend the survival mode for learning, as opposed to arcade) you can hit a really nice flow state. it can be a bit frustrating to learn since the tutorial only gives you the barest of basics. that said, i did enjoy the process of experimenting to get a strategy down that worked for me.
Pretty chill and simple arcade game similar to snake games where you kill enemies with a tail.
The most original release of the 21st century, forget the AAA drudgery and try this awesome title, fiendishly clever and fun!
It's hard to find already-existing games to compare this to because while the Snake or Tron comparison is obvious it has a lot more going on under the hood than that. Keeping the bullets lined up enough to charge the laser brings in a great risk vs reward of balancing offensive and defensive play. Nice level of challenge, seriously fun and has awesome music. Highly recommend.
Imagine Snake, Nuclear Throne, and a bullet hell game all wrapped in a pixel-graphics indie package! Very cool little arcade game - not often you see a mechanic that's original AND engaging like this! Great to spend just a few minutes or a few hours in depending on how you're feeling. You'd spend more on a McDonald's burger meal, why not use that cash to feed a dev?
This was hidden in a pile of garbage littering the Steam Newly released lineup. It's very fun. the tutorial is needed to understand just what is going on, you basically move a snake around - kill stuff with your segmented tail pieces, and do other stuff. And it's got a Crypt of the Necrodancer sort of thing going on with the floor and stuff. Kinda flashy in parts. You have a main progression mode that follows each level, and then you have survival mode ( which is ultimately the mode you will be playing most ) It's very fun and after you get the hang of it , you 'll be placing on the leaderboards ^^
