The game itself - what there is of it - is promising. However, the developer has a long, LONG history of failing to deliver promised updates and failing to communicate with his customer base. This culminated in an update that was announced on February 2nd, 2020, supposedly scheduled for February 21st, and never arrived (at the point of this writing, close to [s]a year and a half[/s] four years later). Why? Nobody ****ing knows - except the developer, and he ain't talking; feels like he's just taking the piss. Because of this, I cannot in good conscience recommend purchasing the game. EDIT: Yes, I am aware that the dev has since made some posts about resuming updates. However, that was a year ago - since then, we have received no patches and no updates regarding the game's development state.

More than five months without a words from the devs. It seriously look like a scam. Edit 28/12/2019: 11 months now. This product has been abandonned and should be notified as such.

Update: 5 Jan 2022 So this game should probably be pulled from the store. Dev isn't updating anything and is now working on another game. This game has been abandoned full stop from what I can tell. DO NOT BUY THIS. Update: 23 August 2018 Judging by the progress of the game that I can see as a steam user have found it isn't worth purchasing quite yet. There is a heart of a good game here but I'd strongly recommend waiting until the game is complete and has a chance to be polished. I do enjoy some of the fixes from the last update but there are some things that still feel a little clunky. (like wall jumping.) Hope to see this game again once it comes out but until then it's a pass. For a pre-release, I'm enjoying this so far. There are some problems that I hope get ironed out such as being able to pull yourself up onto ledges instead of hoping the jump works or the wall jump that forces you to push into the wall you jumped off of instead of the platform you are aiming for. Beautiful animations and lovely music and the controls are very intuitive despite the button mapping being a little different than I'm used to. I had a little trouble at first finding out how to progress after receiving the gun until randomly firing at the ceiling and floors revealed the way forward (or I should say down in that instance). Once I found it I noticed things like that object being rare on ceilings and the map being open but it took longer to click than I would care to admit. All in all, I'm super excited to see this grow as I'm a huge fan of this genre and of the look and feel of this game already. More please!

Game shows promise. Kinda annoyed at the controls though. Not enough customization, too rigid. I'm used to playing metroid when it comes to this playstyle. (Shoot = X/Square, Jump = A/X, Run/Dash = B/Circle, Special(bomb) = Y/Triangle) (Or in Snes terms, Y = Shoot, B = Jump, A = Run, X/Select = Switch weapons/utilities) (also, R/L being aim up/down, not Hold a trigger to choose your aiming direction while holding still {though that would be correct for the GBA versions}) So aside from control difficulties due to (my opinion) strange button choices, I'm liking it. Keep it up! :D

Lovely art overall.

Animations are satisfying
Character design is great
World looks interesting
Music sets the right atmosphere
Only real gripe is the aiming for the pistol, feels really stiff. Kinda hard to practially move around while actually hitting anything. This does follow classic games of its ilk and is easy enough to get used to, but a little more precision aiming would feel nicer IMO.

Certainly on the right track. Love the design of the protagonist too. She's pretty awesome.
