About This Game

The human race has expanded into the galaxy thanks to the wonders of the technological singularity. You have become so powerful that you can manage vast armies across an entire world that provide you with an ever greater galactic empire.

Now, humanity is under assault by a new enemy. Calling themselves the Substrate, they seek to annihilate the human race from existence. You, as an up and coming member of the Post-Human Coalition, must deal with both this new menace as well as renegade humans trying to lay claim to their own worlds.

Play as the Post Human Coalition or their eternal foes the Substrate and battle for control of the galaxy. Experience maps of unprecedented size and detail with the unparalleled power of the world’s first native 64-bit RTS engine, Nitrous.

Enjoy the game online with friends in ranked or unranked multiplayer mode or play it by yourself against a powerful non-cheating AI in skirmish or campaign mode. No matter what mode you play, strategy is the key: deciding what technologies to research, where to send your armies, how to manage your economy, and what units to construct are crucial to victory.

Experience a massive-scale real time strategy game where you wage war across worlds with thousands of units. The conflict has escalated, and it’s time to choose a side.

I like RTS but this is just not what I expected. It's more of a capture the flag.

Very shallow RTS with really interesting mechanics I would like to see elsewhere. Not many unit variety or interesting/unique buildings. Uber units are there but they lack any unique traits or features other than a larger health pool and damage. Combat AI can be frustrating and damage to units can sometimes feel strange. The capture/supply line system IS a unique feature and I really enjoyed it. You are able to upgrade unit count, damage, health, Orbitals, speed and so on. Orbitals are a nice feature, they operate like starcraft or halo wars Leader powers. I would instead recommend to play; Beyond All reason(free+not on steam), Planetary Annihilation $30, supreme commander 2 and FA $10 or literally just play Starcraft 2

Nine years after release finally had a chance to play. No secret it was a spiritual successor to supreme commander / total annihilation and there are a lot of opinions about that. But personal experience is always the best, right? :) So here is my review for 9 y.o. game: What i liked: - The music and overall soundscape are awesome. - The controls feel familiar and does not asks you to learn much, at least after countless hours in supcom. - Not yet another starcraft clone. The next list going to be bigger. What I disliked: - The visuals. It looks on pair with original supreme commander from 2007, but this game is from 2016! Supcom-2 (overly simplifyed gameplay aside) In terms of visuals blows this out of the water. - Control of army formation is bad and barely usable. - How to select single engineer, not all of them? - In battle units drift like a s**t in a drain and seems like doesn't even have proper collision detection. - Explosions are bad: no definitive crack when something dies,...

The game itself is fun, but after an hour it locks up my PC, forcing me to restart. I will not recommend if you plan to play this game for prolonged periods of time. Edit: the problem is fixed now, it does not crash anymore... but still sometimes locks up on certain campaigns after a while, not near as bad though
