Darksiders™

Can't play the game, tried 10 different fixes and still can't bypass the first loading screen, this review is as an heads up if you want replay this game.

If you're on Linux/Steam Deck, neither Darksiders or Darksiders Warmastered works perfectly out of the box. However for me, it was easier to get the original Darksiders working, as unfortunately with Darksiders: Warmastered I have horrible audio crackling that ruins the experience. As far as I understand it they are identical content-wise, but the original looks pretty dated graphically (especially the cutscenes). Anyway I wanted to give a big thumbs up to Vigil Games and THQ Nordic for keeping this version of Darksiders bundled with Warmastered. I feel like most publishers would have just delisted and removed the original version but there is still value in having it.

Not compatible with Windows 11 without the reliance of shady third party website downloads. Should not be sold on Steam, or should at least be free. THQ ,,l,,

TRASH JUST FUCKING TRASH!!!! Do yourself a favor and safe your money. I love this franchises but this port has to be one of the worst out there, the Deves should be ashamed of themselves. The game wont even load past the start screen before crashing and I thought on the Steam Deck it would work better and it did at first but about after 10 mins it crashes and I personally shouldn't have to go find some work around to play this game.

One of my fav Hack and Slash RPGs. Delivers a great story line along side graphics perfectly fitting the game. A solid 9/10 easy.

I just love this game. Beaten it close to half a dozen times on a few platforms. Great power fantasy game. Visual glitches here and there but overall a solid game.

Auxh a unique, underrated game. Combat is very focused on directional dodging more than timing, unlike the later games in the series which blend timing and direction together. There's many ability and gratitude upgrades over the course of the game so things constantly feel fresh. From huge cleaving attacks to massive ground slams, there a lot of fun to be had combing with this system. The story of the horseman and his brothers is fairly interesting, and is a great showing of thinking for yourself and doing what you believe is right. The mc is a total bad ass. My only gripe with this game is the requirements for the 100% acheivement, I've started my completionist run on steam and this game so far has possibly one of the highest amounts of end game grinding yet, simply defeating basic mobile, leaving the area and come back, for hours on end. Besides that I had a blast. 7/10 for me
