This is a "meh" review. Marking at as negative to balance out the "Very Positive" sentiment this game currently has. I don't actively dislike the game, but the most fun I had was when I was exploiting a bug to spam explosive ammo at the incoming hordes and completely decimating them. It was glorious. The art and soundtrack are pretty good and drew me into playing this. However, this game falls really short on two counts - (1) the upgrades are underwhelming and alternative ammo is prohibitively expensive to use consistently and (2) the bosses just play out as gimmick fights where you have to wait for a long time between being able to damage them - I really dislike this sort of boss design. It's an ok distraction, but definitely not something I would recommend spending your time on, when there's so many other great games out there.
