This isn't difficult, it's just insanely annoying. In the 47 page manual, rather than give plenty of clear examples or explain stuff easily, they would rather give their biblically accurate jargon. When I read "teq: Test if the value of the first operand (A) is greater than the value of the second operand (B)" I only got confused. If they just said "if input received then do x, otherwise do y" then that makes much more sense without losing anything in the statement. The entire manual is like that though and its painful. Literally gatekeeping fun.

Great game.
I love spending 3 hours on a solution just to see that it is extremely inefficient and come up with another solution in 2 minutes that is left of the bell curve
Great way to start with ASM and basic board design. Since this is a game, certain aspects are simplified, such as directives or the PCB design overall. That said, that the basics are all there, including documentation for all modules. The main limitation of this game is the code limit. Though it can be frustrating, without this restriction, many tasks would be too easy to solve. The same goes for the number of usable registers, which is a maximum of two, excluding memory.
Genuinely taught me how to program in assembly. Super fun, super hard!
Play this game and you’ll go grey in no time.
I didn't know the game was this meta. Awesome!
Challenging but rewarding game.
This is more of a neutral review, I liked the idea of the game, and have no intention of finishing it because the constraints annoys me to no end. I have a background in programming so I easily got into this, and the presentation is good enough to be immersed into it at the beginning, but as the game progresses I felt less like I'm "solving problems" and more like I'm trying to guess what the developer thought was the solution to the problem. The programming on this game has very simple rules, but it also has a limit of instructions per device, a limit of devices you can fit in the product, and a limit of connections per device and space for these connections; because of that you have the incentive to make every choice counts. This reached a tipping point for me, and the game itself is unbearable to play when 80% of the time you spend in a level is trying to reorganize your code, when the solution could clearly be reached with one extra command. The game shows graphs for solutions co...
DO NOT FORGET ABOUT slx !!! Especially for TIS-100 players (as it isn't a command in that game)! Banged my head against the wall for 2 1/2 hours before re-reading the manual because I forgot it existed.
