Wow, this game is actually a ton of fun. Its got a lot of little things about it that remind me of playing an old N64 game. The music sort of reminds me of like diddy kong racing or something. A lot of the sound effects are very N64 sounding. Even the quest mode or campaign reminds me a lot of maybe super mario or something. You go around collecting golden grenades which you then use as sort of currency to open doors to other levels to then get more grenades. There is no online multiplayer so if thats what youre looking for then maybe turn back now but honestly ive been having a blast by myself and with some friends locally. All the game modes are multiplayer as well. Kill eachother all day or team up against the bots. Speaking of the bots, they are quite smart and pretty good at the game. The level design is really well done. There are secret spots to get to and get some better grenade pickups. Tons of mutators or other options for the multiplayer so you can play big head mode or l...

The feeling of nostalgia in this game is really cool. It's obviously a throwback to early days of n64 games, specifically mario, and the soundtrack is really cool. General gameplay is really enjoyable too, even against bots, and I've played this with friends before too and it's a lot of fun. I highly recommend having a couple friends over to have a good time with this!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UIKu_FEB2v8 3..2..1..Grenades! is a neat little local-multiplayer game. Great fun with friends. It's mostly focused on different variations of deathmatch where your only weapon is a grenade (or grenade variant). You can get all that from the trailer, so here's a few points that stood out to me:
Gameplay
-Numerous modes ranging from simple deathmatch to destructible floors to a form of basketball featuring a throwable pug. -A couple different grenade types to pick up in most levels. -Story mode (featuring all variations of levels and boss fights) or quick play.
Secrets
-A fair amount of secrets to find throughout the game. -Intentional secrets such as gold/silver grenades (collectibles) and hidden weapons. -Unintentional (but still fun) "secrets" such as out-of-bounds or advantageous spots in levels.
Boss Fights
-Patterned bosses that don't pose much of a challenge.
-Only two boss fights (which is the same b...
3..2..1..Grenades is possibly one of the best local multiplayer games I've ever played. Period. The Doom-esque gameplay fused with grenade throwing madness makes this game a true masterpiece. Well done pixel graphics and simple music scores make up perfect backdrop for ruined friendships. The game is filled with countless options to keep multiplayer gameplay fresh, and a fairly extensive story mode (basically incentivized multiplayer matches that allow you to unlock all the maps in the game). If you aren't looking to spend too much dough, but still want a great time with your friends, you can't beat 3..2..1..Grenades. 10/10!
This is a great game to play together with your friends. It reminds me of FPS' from when I was a kid, getting my friends together in front of a TV to blow each other up all night! The twist with this game is that all the weapons are grenades. It has a fun aesthetic and an upbeat soundtrack. The multiplayer quest mode is a blast! (PUN INTENDED.)
Enjoyable local multiplayer with grenades only. I haven't had a chance to see all the different game modes yet, but the main one is pretty solid if you have a few friends over. Soundtrack stays with you long after you played, you'll find yourself humming it :)
This game is one of the hidden gems on Steam! Stunning graphics, epic boss battles, interesting game mechanics, character customization (like changing your name) and a "huge" open world to explore make this game an experience you could never forget. (seriously: Great game for people with friends but without hobbies) (bad enough to be good again)
3..2..1..Grenades is definitely a good first showing from Banyango. It feels like a weird mix of Super Mario 64 and Goldeneye with the colour palette and jagged lines of Megaman Legends. It's a little rough around the edges / lacking polish in some places, but the music is catchy, and there is a good variety in the multiplayer. The boss fight(s) feel fun, and the main mechanic is kept fresh with different power-ups, match mutators, maps, and game types. If you're looking for a one-off party game for a party and you have a few extra xbox controllers, this is a decent choice.
Nice throwback to the simpler days of split-screen FPS games. It's kind of like if Goldeneye 64 and Super Mario 64 had a baby. You'd think that only having grenades would be boring, but it's really not. There are some variations to try out, but nothing too crazy. The fast pace and challenge are what make it fun. It's also a plus that you can go head-to-head with 4 players local, or you can co-op the campaign mode together and unlock dozens of levels. The only thing lacking here is online play. Overall, it's a fun budget game to play locally with friends. Check out my gameplay if you're interested.
A fun arena FPS game that recaptures not just the feeling of playing N64 shooters like GoldenEye, but the feeling of tweaking the settings and playing in very specific game modes, in this case with the "explosives only" weapon set. The game's only weapons are different types of throwable explosives. On top of that, there are plenty of game mode variations like fast motion and invisibility. The game has a colorful, low-poly/sprite-texture aesthetic that looks great. I haven't gotten the chance to play a multiplayer game yet, but the single player campaign has plenty of fun to offer. It's styled after Mario 64, with a hub-world full of doors that you unlock with collectables. You get more collectibles by returning to levels to play with different variations and win conditions. The levels themselves are varied and creative, and keep the game interesting with things like destructable floors and underground passages. Definitely worth checking out if you miss the days of N64 party ...
