I really need to play this more but I think I can give a quick review that won't change the recommendation. Just like all rhythm based games, it's essentially that old handheld electronic game "Simon" in a slightly different form. As space ships cross a certain boundary, you see a colored circle get closer to a white circle. When the ship is in perfect position for the beat, you shoot the circle and get the points. If you try to shoot too early it just makes a "bu-buu" noise and if you try to shoot too late, well the target is gone so you missed. There doesn't seem to be any real progression to the game other than get through a set number of waves until the end of the song. I'm not sure if the number of targets was supposed to go up as your accuracy went up or not. Also there seems to be a variety of styles of ship targets but my favorites were the orange ones that sorta did a "dolphin dive" towards the camera. It might be easier (or harder) using the head tracking to aim. I ...

I really, really like this game. The VR experience is really cool, too. I found myself importing all kinds of different tracks to see how the game would respond...next thing I knew, it was 45 minutes later. So yeah, anything that gets me going like that to the point I forget about time, I'm all about it. Good job to the dev!

So I got this on the Black Friday 50% of normal price sale and I am very happy playing this game. It's odd that there really isn't another game quite like it. It's similar to other endless space runners where you have to shoot things. And there's like a thousand music rhythm games on Steam. But this is the one of the few in VR where the music rhythm actually corresponds precisely to the game action (I'm talking about the in-game music, it probably woudn't correspond to your own music). What separated this game from others in a crowded field and makes it unique, is that the the endless runner and music rhythm parts merged together seamlessly. I can't imagine playing this game separately from music and I can't imagine enjoying this music, without the gameplay. I just loved the in-game disco themed music. And the level became a lot easier, once I found the beat to the music. It only took a few tries. Soon, you're only looking at the visual cues for where to aim. But when to fi...

Purchased at 50% off with decent hopes. Music is excellent, but the gameplay feels extremely bland and 'off' somehow. When playing there is a complete lack of sound effects; all you hear is the music which is very strange considering you're shooting ships in space. Out of 800 games in my library; this is my first refund request. Feels very much like a late alpha, possibly early beta. I'd possibly come back to this if it felt like a finished product.
