About This Game

Red Planet: Survive is a first person survival game for Microsoft Windows.

Surviving in the harsh conditions of the Red Planet will be hard, but if you are strong enough, you will succeed.

Find the best way to survive, but be careful, since each wrong step will ensure your demise.
The environment is your main enemy. Radiation, low temperatures and the oxygen-free atmosphere will certainly kill you.
The meteorites also pose a threat and may even destroy your base and kill you. There is a chance to see a "burning" meteorite at each 30-50 minutes. When they explode, the parts are scattered over a fairly large radius.

The modular system will let you create structures by your heart's desires.

- WPT (Wireless Power Transfer) is used to transfer power without cables, from solar panels to power bank/s, and then to the base.
- If you want to see what's happening outside at night time, you can craft a wireless camera and mount it on the base.
- You will also need a light source to see. For this, you can craft a "Flood Light".
- O2G (Oxygen Generator) will extract CO2 from atmosphere and will transform it into O2.

Your temporary home will be a spacecraft. You'll be provided with a few items to survive until you will set up a farm, a base and other things that will help you to survive.
You can create water by 'boiling' the soil using an electric heater (for water making).
You can grow different plants in your base: lettuce, wheat, rice and onion.

You will find rocks that give you different metals:
-aluminium;
-iron;
-silver;
-copper;

You may use portable power banks to store energy from solar panels.

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!! Initially bought this game thinking that it was cool project, but after absolutly no progress and lies from the developer. i started asking questions about the game updates. if they were really coming if any. because the game as is right now, is not playable. The developer banned me from the discussions page for asking question about when updates were coming and so on. do your self a favor and DO NOT buy this game.

Perhaps a free key to your other broken program, DIY Life (Simulator) is in order for everyone who invested their time and money into this failure of a project...

AWEFUL POS! Games is full of glitches and bugs! Game play is non existent, do not waste your money on this!! Additionally dont expect to get a refund, because I tried after only if you can even call it playing for 30 mins, between crashes, glitches and bugs, Steam said that the logs say I played it for more than 2 hours!! Can only assume this developer has built something into the code that keeps the game running even when you log out so that steam thinks your in game.

An interesting game, still in early developement so pretty laggy and bugged but with a lot of potential. I played this for a few hours and started to enjoy it bugs and all. There are no guides or tutorials at present but as its Early Access you cannot expect too much. Dev is a one man show so updates are few and far between, not a playable game at the moment and not much happening so unless there are some major developements over the next few weeks then this game will turn in to another early access that gets removed from my hard drive and not played again as the last update was well over a month ago and all we get from dev is that he his busy with life and cannot commit the time to make something of the game. A let down, another game idea that started to look promising but left many of us who got it early access feeling cheated out of either a potentially good game or the money we parted with to support it.

Personally, I think the game was lackluster. Not much to look at it... but plenty to BLOW UP! I really liked blowing up the rocks. Did i mention blowing up rocks? Rocks, kapow!!!!!!!

Extremely unfinished game. Game crashed in start menu when I clicked "Start Game". Inventory UI got stuck in game where I couldn't remove it at all. Cool game concept but lost my interest because of so many unfinished aspects that should have been finished at the first phase of the game development.

I have to change my review on this game sadly as there has been no updates, false promises etc. i still love the idea and concept but there has been no progression in months, it should have never been released at such an early state. i will check back every month but for now i would stay away from this game

Great looking game, with major potential, but needs a more detailed tutorial as the instructions are not very clear. keep the updates coming! Edit: Yeah so no updates in 2 years.... it is indeed a waste of money and disappointing, especially as the developer has moved on to release a new game on steam...
