About the Game
A new era of shoot and loot is about to begin. Play as one of four new vault hunters facing off against a massive new world of creatures, psychos and the evil mastermind, Handsome Jack. Make new friends, arm them with a bazillion weapons and fight alongside them in 4 player co-op on a relentless quest for revenge and redemption across the undiscovered and unpredictable living planet.Key Features:
- All-New Characters and All-New Classes: Four all new playable classes including the Siren, the Commando, the Gunzerker and the Assassin. Step into the role of the Gunzerker, whose highly deadly skills allow him to dual-wield any two weapons found in the game. Not only that, you will build on that skill to do more things with two guns than you ever imagined possible. Dual machine guns? Cool. Dual rocket launchers? Of course! Dual Sniper Rifles? Sure, if that’s your thing! Want to try other styles? More tactical perhaps? There are multiple classes to choose from!
- Dynamic Co-op online, and LAN: Share your adventures with friends both online and via LAN. Borderlands 2 features a seamless system enabling you to drop in and drop out of a campaign without ever having to restart the game. On top of that you can even take your new gear from any game to any other!
- World Connected Story: Find yourself left for dead in the frozen tundra of Pandora as you begin your quest of revenge and redemption. Expose the evil surrounding the Hyperion Corporation and take on the perpetrator of a universe-wide grand deception -- the nefarious Hyperion CEO, Handsome Jack. (Oh, also: he's stolen credit for the opening of the Vault.)
- 87 Bazillion...Everything: In addition to the new gun system, you will lust after procedurally generated shields, grenades, Relics, class mods and much, much more. And you thought the original Borderlands had a ton of loot!
- Brand new environments on Pandora: Hunt through entirely brand new areas of Pandora that are more alive than ever! From the arctic tundra, through the dangerous grasslands, past the mysterious corrosive caverns to beyond, you’ll be surprised by the unpredictable world of Pandora at every turn!
- Brand new enemies: A whole slew of new enemies are out there to kill you in Borderlands 2. Hulking, gorilla-like Bullymongs, vicious predatory Stalkers and the Hyperion mechanical army, run by Handsome Jack, are just some of the new enemies in Borderlands 2.

Was once an amazing game, now you can't even install without accepting new EULA despite owning it before that. Disgusting anti-consumer practises, do not support this behaviour or Borderlands 4. The fact other companies also do this doesn't make it acceptable in any way.
fun game, dont know why we're changing the eula on a 13 year old game to collect personal information, hope they get the blockstone treatment.
This is the best game in the series. Unfortunately, I will never be able to play it again due to their aggressive and needless EULA. As far as you or I need to be concerned, you aren't buying this game when you give them money. I PAID REAL MONEY for them to say I dont actually have rights to the data on my system, buy they do. I would recommend not agreeing to their abusive EULA. Doing so will lock you out of playing even if you are offline in airplane mode or disconnect your internet. Shame on 2K. Shame. Shame. Shame.
The fuck are you idiots doing. Remove it and apologize. You aren't a big pvp game that needs anticheat.
Genuinely one of my favorite games. Unfortunately, they decided 13 years after launch was the perfect time to change the EULA in ways I can't and thus won't support. It pains me to think I probably wont ever play this game with friends again. Maybe someday, some minor miracle will come along and set things right, but until then You gotta steer clear.
It's almost as if Randy Pitchford missed the point of this game in the narritive and just decided to became evil anyway by putting spyware in the new EULA.
Played this game on Xbox and PC since it came out. I love every entry in the series for one reason or another, but the new policy agreement is insane and tarnishes the series forever... They are telling us we need to agree to not actually owning the game to let us install it. I now dont own the game ive owned for a decade. How they can tell me i dont own a game i purchased before this policy? gfys
Borderlands?! I barely know 'er!
Me and Borderlands 2 go back to 2019: I bought it on a steep sale, played it for a few hours with a friend and decided that it really wasn't for me. Honestly, I didn't even like the co-op part that much, as I think it's almost better to experience the game solo on the first playthrough, but that's not a hill I'm going to die on. Fast forward to 2025. Having just played through a few shorter games, I decided to give Borderlands 2 a second chance instead of starting something completely new. Even though I felt pretty strongly about it the first time, it still left me for years with a feeling that maybe I was unfair towards it or didn't keep going long enough. Jumping back into the action, I will admit that the story felt even more confusing than six years prior, as I (still) didn't have any knowledge of the events in the first Borderlands game or generally about the franchise's lore. Later on during my second playthrough, I still had the feelin...
This game is what introduce me to the entire series of Borderlands. Without this game, I don't think this game would have gone as far as it did. DLC are fun and amazing, and of course we can't forget about the Endgame to this game, ton of Raid Bosses and infinite possible of loot in your wildest dream. I would 100% give this game a shot if you are new to this series.
