The mouse didn't work for me, only the keyboard, and I refuse to believe that in 2016 an arkanoid game does not use the mouse. Clunky interface with weird sensitivity when pushing the buttons. I will not ask for a refund due to its price, but you can stay away.

Go on google images and search for Atari Breakout. That google easter-egg handles better than this game.

My initial opinion of Simple Ball was that it was the worst "Breakout" style game I'd ever played, but I have to give credit to the 1-man developer Antizero Company (A.K.A. username anti0) for personally responding to anyone's complaints or concerns, and patching the game up somewhat often. Simple Ball: Extended Edition is a "template" flip. The "developer" copy+pasted a basic template in Unity for a brickbreaker game, changed the name/reskinned a couple of things, and put it on Steam as if it was their own game. Unsurprisingly there's zero quality here or value for gamers... the game is so badly made, you'd be better off just playing Arkanoid or Breakout in a browser.. those are objectively better games, and they're free. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
