I liked the game for the simple yet good design. It awakes my imagnination, I guess that's why I bought it, for the ambiance of space. Choices can be optimised, I liked this part too, but once you get which one is "useful" then you're not really playing, it's just choosing the lesser worst path. Considering this, there's no replayability for me. I guess it's worth it for the price paid, even though I expect that a game entertain me longer than 2 hours. EDIT : It actually did so a little more worth it. Choosing yes because I support those kind of space game but make up your own mind ! :)

About This Game
OESE is about decisions and consequences.
Features
- Over 100 different encounters with different outcomes.
- 7 races and 4 factions that will love you and aid you on your way.
- 7 races and 4 factions that will hate you and send bounty hunters out to kill you.
- 20 in game achievements
- Delicious pixel art and original soundtrack.
- Customizable ship so you can look nice.
- The omnipresent impending doom of the indestructible Nox Cubes.
- A friendly companion to keep you company.
The game is very relaxing and turn-based, allowing you to take your time and enjoy the journey of space (or panic if your power is running low.) If you're in the office or classroom and it's one of those long days that never seem to end then it's rather nice having a little ship to watch over while you get on with your work.

Simple game mechanics allow quickly getting into (looks like a smartphone game) A little background story PROS: - Ingame interface help - nice atmospheric soundtrack - nice old-school/retro-style graphics CONS: - short playtime (ca. 40-60 min. depending on luck with random number generator - few strategies Overall: Only a small recommendation IF on big discount or sale!
a nice cofeebreak game, this game is pretty simple in its own. it's not that difficult to progress far in the game. all is a matter of good decision to make, if you're not idiot you'll learn quickly what choice to make for each event. progressing in the game is just a matter of good choices and some luck. a fair price for a descent small game.
Too little to do, fun concept, seems too limited. Takes a long time to get rep compared to how quickly you max out stats, eventually ships are doing absurd damge for reasons i dont understand, i got hit for 760 damage once which is more than the max possible HP.
I'm sad to say that this game has pretty much no replay value at all. The encounters are super simple and barely change in what they accomplish. It's simply a matter of juggling your two resources and once you know what actions produce what for an encounter, after that there isn't really anything to it bar the occasional rare and cryptic encounter. Wanted to like it, but seen everything it had to offer in less than an hour.
Interesting little game with a good learning curve for the resource management. I've throughly enjoyed the few hours I've put into it so far - happy to recommend.
Good game for a couple hours of fun. It's similar to FTL, but a bit lighter because it doesn't have as many different systems and mechanics. Still, it's well made and really enjoyable. Maybe the developers will come back for a second part with more content:)

It is a good example for my classroom, in using programming blocks, to initialize variables, and follow the data depending on changes we chose or choices we made, and faction relationships. A simple game, but a good example of a game that participation of a group worked well. Finished the game with all achievements. A good beginner project. Well done.
Meet a frozen frog.. Defrost and have a frog crew member.. 10/10 would defrost again. (I paid $2 and completed it in 2 hours)
