About This Game

The 58th year of Shouwa, early summer.
It’s June, and the summer heat has arrived earlier than it does most years.
By day there are crickets, and by night there are cicadas.

We’re in Hinamizawa, a small village in the countryside.
There are fewer than two thousand people here. But every year, there is an event.

This event is a mysterious death.

On a certain day in June, someone dies, and someone else goes missing.
The series of deaths is connected to the upheaval surrounding the dam construction project.
A murder case that was covered up is being reenacted.
Is it a conspiracy? A coincidence? Or perhaps a curse?

Someone who was supposed to be there isn’t.
Someone who wasn’t supposed to be there is.

Someone who was alive last night is dead now.
And someone who is here right now isn’t alive.

I loved Keiichi in this arc. Satoko was the main focus of this chapter, and she was great. I loved this one. So good!

Wow. What a chapter. In the first half i thought i had everything pretty much understood. It got a bit crazier but i could still hang onto reality. But by the end i could not explain why a glass of eater was on the table. This was meant to be the final chapter of the answer arcs but Himatsubshi was made so i hope it's good and not random filler. Honestly amazing. I can't even describe what happened because i don't know what happened either.

This is a crazy one, I really love the dynamic between the Satoko and Keiichi but given how this is Higurashi and [spoiler]"I can fix/save her"[/spoiler] plot has never resulted in a good ending, I can only expect tragedy. The amount of shock and confusion throughout the chapter had left me with more questions than ever and the ending [spoiler]is possibly the worst it can ever be (I hope I didn't foreshadow anything LOL)[/spoiler] I'm looking forward to the next chapter
