This game is so awesome, i love the ability to speak to kaizen in whichever way you want. tho being a game from 2016, i can't help but feel limited in how i could approach the game. otherwise 10/10 would recommend

About This Game

You’ll freely navigate evocative 3D environments brought to life with physics-based rendering and advanced lighting techniques. You’ll examine items to gather information and solve hacking puzzles as you progress. You can even leave the ship for breathtakingly scary spacewalks! All sound and music come from the environment; there is no traditional score. The ship is essentially the AI computer’s body, and reacts to Kaizen’s feelings by making different sounds—pay attention for clues!
As in any relationship, there can be gratitude, disappointment, or jealousy, and Kaizen reacts differently depending on its mood. By working through the fears and anxieties of your virtual companion, you can eventually find your way back to Earth—while unraveling the cryptic history of the ship and the 1980s society from which it emerged.

The AI is not perfect by any means. But for something out of 2016? Absolutely amazing to see the dedication to making interacting with Kaizen feel smooth and natural. Like the concept, and nowadays when local AI models become more and more accessible, I can see future titles adapting a similar concept with a real LLM. Great title, and an impressive technology for 2016 though it doesn't hold up as well compared to what we have today. Great game, but short. Get it on sale if you can.
If you're thinking about buying this game, JUST DO IT GO AND GIVE IT SOME LOVE, IT ABSOLUTELY DESERVES IT Criminally underrated game. The graphics, the music, the lore a masterpiece imo
So, I started playing and being nice, but then got bored and switched to my "Evil" save. Here's what I did: 1. Named myself Satan 2. Bossed Kaizen around until he opened the first door. 3. Didn't thank Kaizen for opening the door. Here's where it gets interesting. I: 1. Said I didn't want to live when he asked. 2. Ordered him to open the next door in all caps with exclamation marks. 3. Refused to hear him out on what he was trying to tell me. 4. Finally let him tell me just to progress. 5. Told him that I hate earth. 6. Told him that I hate Nandi. 7. Told him that I hate him in all caps, three whole times. 8. When he asked "Is this personal?" I said yes in all caps with an exclamation mark. He opened the door right after item 8. 10/10 let me insult an ai over and over and still let me progress :D
Good game. Now patiently waiting for Event 1.
nice
Interesting game! Unfortunately, I only got one playthrough as starting a new game just deposits me out in open space no matter which save slot I use. I even tried reinstalling to no effect. Check it out if it's on sale, but be aware that there are some potentially crippling bugs. With regret, I cannot recommend the game at full price.
