Tip for new players...or any player... find a friend, save all materials until wave 6 and mass send.. i promise you wont lose, i refuse to play this game until that's fixed. Thumbs down until then. I'll edit my review since they came out with a patch about what I complained about... game still sucks, they fixed nothing with that update.. legit just save materials with a buddy and send a mimic.. you'll win by wave 6... 0% strategy.

About This Game
Defend your lane
Endless waves of enemies threaten your king. Assemble your army from over 100 unique fighters, each with its own strengths and abilities. Empower your defenses with auras and spells, and change the tides of battle by unleashing powerful mercenary attacks. How many waves can you last before your defenses collapse and your king falls? Outwit and break your opponents before they break you.
Choose your playstyle
Build defensively to hold the line against swarms of enemies, play offensively to smash through your opponents' fighters, or prioritize economy to scale into the late game and become an unbreakable juggernaut. Every game requires adaptation, but play to your strengths to achieve victory.

History
Legion TD 2 is the sequel to the 2nd most popular Warcraft 3 mod of all time, Legion TD. Also known as Squadron TD in Starcraft 2. The top 5 most played Warcraft 3 mods are DotA, Legion TD, Wintermaul, Footmen Frenzy, and Life of a Peasant. Legion TD is proud to hold the silver medal.

Legion TD 2 launched in early access in 2017, and has received major updates, quality of life, and balance changes every single month since then. After fully launching in October 2021, we believe it has grown to become the most replayable, balanced, competitive strategy experience out there. Unlike other indie multiplayer games, Legion TD 2's playerbase has stood the test of time, having been active & steady for over 6 years and counting.

User Reviews
game used to be fun and challenging online but now i think it's populated with mainly bots. i have played 15 games of ranked and my teammates are always real people but the other teams at usually people who have played THOUSANDS of games and their win loss is 4-1500.
Used to be nice, chill game... balance worse with every patch.
game has went very downhill since they made it free. players constantly trolling 4v4 and the game having instability issues of which you are penalized for.
Came from WC3 Custom games, this game is fantastic.
This game is chill and strategic - easy game to kill some time.
I really wish this game had a demo, I would not have bought it had I had the chance. Now I need to suffer to get my money worth. I'm still working on the game, and trying to get grasp for it. I really thought I'd like this game more... but sometimes it feels like a roulette if you'll defend against a wave. This feels less of a defense game and more of economy puzzle game, and if you're bad at min/max... you won't do well in this game. Additionally some units are just outright terrible and feels terrible to build into (or take to long to get build to be of any use). The balance does not feel good. On a more positive note: there's quite a few units to use. Varied enemy AI and difficulties to go against for challenges and there's even some minor play style changes (such as piggy bank, which builds up extra money over time to be spent, once).
Devs intentionally prolong matches by ridiculous decisions
yeah
Awesome game, if you've played WC3 custom map this is the true successor this game is EPIC !!
