maybe a point and click classic to some but as someone who's never played this up until now, the game just felt way too weird and icky. some things that didn't feel right: forced dialogues, almost fetish-like portrayal of dead women, painfully stereotypic depiction of a black man, the main character (who is a WOMAN) going "this girl liked pain" as her first reaction to seeing a dead body of a tattooed woman with piercings, then some five minutes later proceeding to get groped by her male coworker, albeit on accident, but presented in a haha funny setting (no woman would react to that with asking "do you like them?" COME ON). and on top of all that, it's an old game, so I ran into some technical issues that had to be sorted out. idk. had high hopes because the atmosphere and the visuals were super promising but it's just not worth it for me.

Good atmosphere of foggy 1920s Prague and 2004 wintery Chicago - great settings for noir mystery. Great art direction, both of the game itself and in-game macabre art. A couple of puzzles are pure pain though (cookies and lockpick) - so don't be ashamed to look up solutions for those. And the game ends on a cliffhanger, but considering the price it goes on sale, definitely check it out if you're into point and click games.
One of my favorite point & click games. It has a mysterious, otherworldly atmosphere that really draws you in. I especially love how it captures the vibe of 90s crime movies — dark &moody.
This one is really mixed bag for me. It starts honestly really well and is enticing for quite long. But then some of the puzzles begin to fall flat and some don't make any kind of sense at all and are just "puzzles in sake of puzzles" so-to-say. There's one particular cooking puzzle that doesn't have absolutely anything to do with the game, but it's there and it's one of the worst puzzles I've ever encountered. Few of the puzzles in general are really infuriating and non-sensical. Also the plot or more precisely writing near the end game really bogs down and game begins to rely bit too much on back tracking to presumably extend gameplay. But it can't be said to be bad game. After all I first completed it with Xbox and later on with PC. More precisely going into game. When it does writing/plot well, it's absolutely 9/10 stuff. It's just unfortunate that experience is... Inconsistent. Also some of the puzzles are really good tbh, but here like before mentioned are also really bad ones ...
