About This Game

PLEASE NOTE : Vroomist is still in development. Please purchase if you are interested in supporting Vroomist in its active development, helping crush issues and having a huge input on the game as it is built.

Vroomist is a physics based game about survival, engineering and out constructing your opponents.

Vroomist is a creative multiplayer survival sandbox game which puts you right into a world of fun and oddity. Vroomist is Mad Max inspired, where you build mobile machine bases which traverse the open world to harvest resources and destroy or trade.

Vroomist aims to take the survival genre to a new realm, instead of static bases and defined borders in the game Vroomist encourages and rewards players which play in a nomadic style.

Build Vehicles

Build and construct complex physics based vehicles using hinges, wheels, pistons and many others! Then, add defensive pieces such as shielding to protect your vehicle, but be careful where you place them or your car may be too heavy or too slow! After that, add on offensive weapons such as spikes, a sword, or even a mechanical hammer that smashes your opponent in two!

Physics based simulation and destruction

Vroomist features physics simulations, which means how you construct your vehicle is critical for it could snap in half under its own weight!
Don’t worry though, in combat it can be to your advantage by ramming a player in a weak spot splitting them in half!

What Vroomist currently has to offer

Vroomist currently is focusing on the development of the physics and car construction elements of the game. Currently implemented is the creative mode which allows you to use the vehicle editor which you can exploit to create whatever your mind imagines, and then take your creation out in the open world. Moreover, on offer is a taste of the future combat players will encounter an Arena gamemode where players can face their creations off against other players in team based combat.

Within the Creative Mode there are challenges such as rebuilding a destroyed bridge which will allow you to explore the rest of the map.

Development Roadmap

Vroomist is currently in early alpha and we see a lot of work ahead of us in the near future to make it the awesome multiplayer experience we want it to be. Current version is including only a small subset of game mechanics and serves mostly as a test bed with core gameplay mechanics that will provide a basis for future additions and improvements. Currently planned are the key future additions:

  • Playable characters
  • Build aerial based vehicles
  • Survival gamemode
  • Extensive crafting, mining, interaction with the environment
  • Support of user modifications
  • In-depth progression

https://youtu.be/ZkFuCHY0VuM Vroomist is the next physics based vehicle combat game. This is early access and it is made very clear multiple times. Pros +The graphics are solid +The concept of build and fight is interesting Cons -The physics seem very weird (wheels move on their own) -Had multiple crashes so far -Couldn't get multiplayer to work (Perhaps just nobody on yet to play) -Lacking any real sounds -Lacks tutorial -Not many parts to play with It does show promise but at this moment in time I cannot recommend a purchase at this price. So it's a thumbs down just for now at this price Once I get multiplayer to work and try that I will reassess but for now be warned that you do not get much for your money My video covers most of what the game has to offer so far

Wait until its updated. They don't work on it enough. Play Besiege, Simple planes, or even Scrap Mechanic for a better experience. edit: From the looks of it, you might have to wait a year.. or seven.

Before you buy this game please understand the "early access" version is extremely limited and when I say extremely I mean bare bones. So far all you can do is build a very basic car and thats it. I have yet been able to actually see any of my creations "come to life". I have only played this game for about 20min, but in that 20min I experienced everything that "early access" Vroomist has to offer. I built a total of 4 very basic cars and out of those 4 cars I did not get one to successfully "run". As soon as I hit the simulate button the game either crashed or my car fell to pieces. You only get about 10 or more parts to fool around with. One part being an engine and 2 other parts acting as 2 different size wheels. The other parts are one single block a couple of offensive and deffensive parts and a "socket" type part. The building system is very user friendly and simple. I was able to pick it up right away without the need of a tutorial (of which there isn't one) and build my first c...

So, ive played this game less than an hour. And ive earleady gotten 4 crashes so far being either on sandbox or in the normal builder.. And you know what? It's terrble. Pro's: Good graphic's.ø Smooth fps. Sandbox offers first-person-view, downsides; Cant jump and the animation for using the tools are rather "meh"-ish. Con's: No instructions No toturials Game crashing too often. Carbuilder is limited resources (blocks) Carbuilder is rather akward getting fast used to. Conclusion: Its a game that needs development and more passion than it is now, but it could be just me not figuring out how to build sh*t, but its probably the editor instead! Anyways, i'd say you shouldnt refund this game, its worth looking into and trying for yourself. Update #1: Added a conclusion, deleted some text and added the text below. Updated 16 Mars 2017

I bought this game straight away! I couldn't resist! I recorded a video on it and just uploaded the montage to my YouTube channel 'pickapixel'! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j0FxE171A4o I had so much FUN! It really did make me laugh, it was certainly challenging though! It was a bit buggy but I expected that with it being in such an early stage of the game! I can't wait to continue following this game from the start and see what it grows into! Especially when multiplayer is fully implemented! To anyone unsure whether or not to get it, if you've got some spare money lying around or saved up then give it a go! if not then perhaps wait until it's developed slightly further! Either way, I really enjoyed my first experience and can't wait to play more and make more videos on it! Nice job! :D

I've had this game in my library for a long time now and I check in from time to time just hoping that the devs slipped in an update that I hadn't noticed. To my disappointment...They have'nt. I honestly had hopes for this game. Maybe not 'high' hopes, but hopes for a new creative type of game (when it originally realeased). I hate to just blatently hate on devs, but this game has had zero updates frome the developers since I purchased it and the price tag does not meet the quality.
