This game is amazing ive played DoDonPachi 1 and II a lot as well as the PS2 version this is like an ultimate edition so far have a record of 853 hits.

On one hand, every Cave shooter is as good as any shmup you're going to play. On the other, I find I tend to enjoy each DDP game a bit less than the previous one (not counting the non-Cave second entry). So while I can't recommend this enough, it's a great port of a phenomenal game packed with every arcade and home variant you could want, it's also one of my least favorite DDP games. I really hope that if more Cave stuff comes to Steam, we can get modern ports of DonPachi and DoDonPachi (and Ketsui, ffs) that are of the same quality as this release. So a solid recommendation and a must have for arcade and STG fans but it makes me a bit sad knowing there's much better lurking in Cave's back catalog.
