Ironguard

I'd classify this as an "inverse tower defence game". Walk in a door, it seals behind you and the game spawns in a bunch of turrets. You have to destroy all the turrets in the room to open the doors and repeat in the next room. FPS bullet hell vs static defenses. Conceptually fun, but after five or ten rooms of repetition, I was completely over it. Feels like a series of static "danger rooms". Having some mobile enemies would really help.

At the moment is not great. A poor mans "Tower of Guns", with none of the epic level design, imaginative and varied enemies or dazzling music. It might get better, but at this time, I cannot recommend it. Sorry.

I'm enjoying the weapon variety and perks, they are different enough to keep each run interesting. As a fan of a couple similar games (Tower of Guns, Ziggurat) that I still play on and off I can see myself adding Ironguard to the rotation.

This is a fun game, but see if you can get it on sale. It is not very long, but what is there is a fun roguelike experience.
