This is not a game. It's a walking simulator with a first-person view. The controls are merely WASD (movement), the spacebar (jump), and LMB (interact). It is meant to be done in one sitting, so you cannot save your progress. It should only take you 40 to 50 minutes to complete if you stay on the path and go non-stop directly from the cabin to the building at the end (which is only the size of a port-a-potty). You begin in the upstairs room of a two-room cabin on the top of a mountain. Read the note on the table behind you, then leave the cabin and follow the wide path down the mountainside. Five times along the way you will see a woman who talks, but you cannot understand anything she says. When you get right up next to her and left-click she will disappear and leave a note. You will also need to interact with an axe just outside the cabin, a mushroom you find in a cave, and two graves in separate areas. Both graves will be slightly off of the pat...

About This Game
As you progress, you hear some nice piano tunes as well as the sound of the soft wind. Also the sound of shrubs moving and some animals. Those are things that make the game more atmospheric.
The game is sometimes mystical, sometimes funny, sometimes scary but mostly relaxing.
After you complete the game, another mode called "Noir" is unlocked and with it you play generally the same game but with another atmospheric black & white filter and it is night time. Also in Noir mode there are some surprising differences.
Note: The orbs you collect in game give you temporary speed boost.
PS: The core aspect of this game is the atmosphere. It is recommended for those who mostly seek to experience the mood.

I rate the extremely short, linear, first person perspective walking simulator, Bottle 2/5. A good idea done badly, I don't think this tiny little game was fully worth the even minor trouble of buying and installing it. And, frustratingly, it feels as though it could have been done so much better than it was. There is very little explanation within this game concerning what (if anything) Bottle is really about. Everything in Bottle is so cryptic there is no true (or good) storytelling going on here. What the game actually depicts is a guy (the character you play), after drinking a little tiny bit of wine, grabs his coat (the game doesn’t let you leave without your coat) and then goes for a walk in the pretty, snowy woods. Then, while walking around in the woods, he occasionally has hallucinations about someone or other and finds cryptic notes/bad poetry. You must come to your own conclusions (if any) concerning what this game is really about. And perhaps the most inexplicable thing ...
Walking / depressing-lonely-man simulator with funeral music that adds to its melancholy atmosphere. It's a true walking simulator with a bit of a depressing vibe, a short "story" open for personal interpretation, and a few things to discover along the way. An alternate ending mode is unlocked after completing for the first time.
if you want to waste your time by just walking around getting no story line or any sort of switch up in gameplay buy this "game".
