Bayonetta is pure queer camp wrapped in gunmetal stilettos. It doesn’t just give you combat — it gives you choreography, attitude, and a smirk that says you could never. Every dodge, every combo, every hair-whip is drag-level performance art, dripping with the kind of confidence most games wouldn’t dare touch. It’s unashamedly over-the-top, dramatic in the best way, and serves you glamour while tearing angels apart. Bayonetta isn’t here to be subtle — she’s here to be iconic, and honestly? She ate.
What an awful experience! In short, just ignore the PC version and emulate the PS3/Xbox360 version of this game or play it on consoles. I don't know why all PlatinumGames's games have awful ports on PC. There is lots and lots of bugs to the point it's unplayable sometimes. To just mention some of them: • The Item tab is broken. It doesn't work 90% of the time. When you try to access it, you get a blank screen and the game doesn't receive any input beside the menu button. It just removes a gameplay aspect from you entirely. • When you pause the game, sometimes it doesn't and gives you a "loading" screen and the game stops for a 1-2 minutes then returns to gameplay. If you want to close the game you will have to force stop it. • There is enormous issues with fights in this game. Bosses not dying and you have to restart the fight (When I fought Bayonetta clone, her HP reached zero but she didn't die. I thought there is a special attack I have to do but the...
Great game (and series) but i highly Recommend against buying this port of the game as This is a Single core Preformence type game meaning Due Core + cpu's will break this game (Unless you use mods or such) Again i really do love this game and the series of Bayonetta but Just by all means AVOID the Pc port!
Amazing game with an unbelievably bad PC port that sadly makes this almost unplayable.
combat is fun and challenging, you have to play this game easily one of the most fun and best games ive ever played. Story follows a witch awakening from her slumber in a coffin and angels are trying to stop her from finding her lost memories. Character design is very good so is the voice acting and everything else.
the game is rife with annoyances, from the levels and secrets upon secrets, to the obscene amount of nonsensical qte's and the obnoxious bosses (apart form jeanne). the awful piss filter that infected games of this era and the unacceptable cap of 60 fps (that needs a damn user made patch to iron out) do not do bayonetta any favors either... but the combat system is the finest i have yet come across. i wish it clicked with me years and years ago, but on a whim, i gave it another try and now i at long last get it. weaving in and out of anything/everything, from ground to air and back is immensely satisfying, to put it mildly. as much as dante might be the gold standard i think bayo might actually be more fun, fluid and generally more imaginative on a fundamentals level. it might not even be all that close. it is a real pity that the sequels are locked behind bullshit commerce, even if i hear they do not quite have the same magic, any improvements made aside. i cannot recommend the bayo...
This is a frustrating and poorly designed experience from start to finish. The controls feel unresponsive, making even basic actions a chore. The graphics are outdated, with bland environments and awkward character animations. The story is dull and predictable, filled with cliché dialogue that adds nothing to the experience. Enemy AI is laughably bad, offering no real challenge, and the combat is repetitive to the point of boredom. Bugs and glitches are common, often breaking immersion or forcing restarts. The soundtrack is forgettable, and the overall pacing drags endlessly. This is a waste of time and money — it is absolutely not worth playing
has its janky moments but idc this is PEAK
You will feel ecstasy and might even reach it
