Hand of Fate 2

My top fave indie game of all time. Wish the series continued... I'd back a kickstarter in a heartbeat (*cough* devs!)

Some of the changes to this game that are small really remove the flavor that the first game brought. Example: The cards are not placed on to the map and spawn the entities on top of them. Instead they swirl into this blue red polymerization loading screen which really hurts the atmosphere of the game. They've added a bunch of none card elements to the game that was what really brought me to the game in the first place. Now it feels more like a mario party minigame similator rather than a card based story teller. Though there are notible improvements like new npc character story lines that are actually pretty cool, the stray away from cards and the new mission tokens based on fetch quests like achievements make the game more of a grind rather than the card exploring story battler that the first game had. It is definitely something new and not neccessarily bad, but I would not recommend this game after really enjoying the first. This game leaves a worse taste in my mouth because I playe...

i had high hopes for the game because i liked the first one sadly, my RNG is so bad. i got to unlucky to many times, i now dislike the game. Dealer : [win] [win] [failed] [failed] Dealer : [hidden] x3 Me : Picks card Dealer : [failed] The card shuffle mini game, broke me i hate the RNG on it because it keeps bricking my runs. if i had better RNG i would have liked the game more.
