The game is unplayable. I know some people are apparently able to get past the controls, evidenced by the community posts, but I do not have the patience or willpower to look up hours worth of control fiddling to enjoy the game on setup. It is unintuitive on both controller and mouse and keyboard, and the camera is the worst offender. I got through the first mission by the skin of my teeth cause I was fighting the camera for most of it. As a kid, I played this game on the N64 and had no issues. When I would speed my fighter up then it didn't leave the camera behind like this port does; I didn't need to readjust the camera every time I moved the ship! There was also this fun cheat code for the original that would let you pilot an AT-ST and destroy the rebels for fun. In this, it just brings the AT-ST in the mission you are supposed to do with a ship, so I just end up failing the mission because, as you might have noticed, an AT-ST is really slow. But hey, that doesn't matter cause I co...

NOSTALGIA might be why i love this game so much, but its a fun "flight sim."
Great game. classic
This was fun in its day,
This was the first star wars game I ever played, my father introduced it to me when I was a kid and its always been one of my favorite games of all time. I used to fly around mos Eisley destroying all the buildings and homesteads like a little psycho lol
Brilliant game that still massively holds up. Feels brilliant to be in the cockpit of an X-Wing starfighter! My only complaint would be that there is a datedness to the difficulty of some of the missions - but I still think it's a fantastic game!
