It isn't quite what I expected from the description; yes, you're investigating a murder, but there isn't really all that much [i]investigating[/i]. (Indeed, your character doesn't actually [i]talk[/i] at all, though they do communicate by... other means.) It's actually mostly an action platformer, but with a really cool fighting system and a very compelling story. There are important choices to make, but because of the time manipulation, you don't really care which way you go; indeed, you almost always want to try every decision both possible ways, to learn as much as you can. And while you can re-visit character stories in an order of your choice, the investigation seems to proceed in a largely pre-determined order; you have to get it wrong in a certain way in order to unlock the thing that lets you fix that mistake and then go make a [i]different[/i] mistake, and so on. My one complaint is that it seems to use level scaling; despite getting more powerful, I often didn't [i]feel[/i] ...
