This is a mobile port. It's an ok game, but... If you catch this on sale for a couple of bucks, I might recommend, but otherwise get KR. 1. You max your towers before getting halfway through the game. 2. In the mobile game you have to buy all characters except for your first. Here you unlock them as you go through the maps. 3. When I try to move my character to a certain spot, sometimes he will run another direction trying to get there and never make it. 4. When you upgrade a stat on your characters it does not show that you gained in that stat. Only about just over halfway through the map, but that is what I see at the moment.

Magic Quest is alot like Kingdom Rush, GemCraft, Cursed Treasure etc. But... The game is too repetitive. You kill the SAME monsters, throughout the whole game, your towers doesn't really change that much when you upgrade, and as soon as you reach the last hero you can basically go solo with him. He kinda never really dies... But with that said, it's really those 5€ worth! You get easy cards if you're into that stuff, the graphics is quite well done and it's an okay tower defense. You should NOT buy it, if you're looking for a new Kingdoms Rush or other games in that league! Hope it helps :) I would give it 5/10

Best to wait for a sale... While I loved this game on my mobile devices the PC port feels a unfinished, unpolished, rushed and unbalanced. Most off putting is that expected animations, effects and sounds play too fast, if at all.

Good general LAYOUT but i will tell you, it is stupidly hard i only got to the 5th map and i am not gonna play it anymore, the amount of enemies that come through is stupid considering there is no infantry tower that you can build to stop them from coming through so quick, only a rogue you can place but that 50 % of the time is not enough.

It's pretty easy for a tower defense game. I didn't play more than one level on hard, because there's no real reward for doing it. Not even an indication on the map you beat it on hard. I don't know how stars are determined, but 3-starring every map is easy too. You can even lose points and get all the stars. I wouldn't say as easy as some say (the heroes die pretty quick on later levels so I don't get that one). But it's not that difficult either particularly since you can buy the spell items anytime during the actual game and just steam roll over everything with OP spells. The UI isn't really designed well for PC, the spells cover up some of the nodes you can place towers which makes placing towers a pain in some levels. And the hero doesn't move very well on some maps. There's even one map where there are paths that you can't walk for no apparent reason. I found it really finnicky to get them to move where I wanted, and sometimes their attacks wouldn't properly hit anything. I f...
