watchdogs 2 is an alright game i just hate ubisoft, ubisoft connect, and having to update ubisoft connect everytime i wanna play the game. watch dogs 2? 😁 ubisoft? 🤬🤬🤬

Literally cannot get the game to launch, game shows brief startup image before then returning to ubisoft connect launcher.

In 2025, this game feels even more relevant. It's a good game but if you want the true hacker experience, play with the 'Pacifist Challenge' mod by SlyCooperReloadCoded. A total game-changer, makes it so you have to use hacks to get through missions instead of guns.

8.5/10 - Not sure if I liked the tone shift from 1 to 2 as much, but the improvements to gameplay and the detailed world make up for it.

It's a great game, but Denuvo got added so instant negative review. Ubisoft never fails to be a scumbag company.

Played it back in 2016 when it first released, was great to play back then but my PC build didnt get the best out of it, i always wanted to play it again with the graphics settings all maxed out so i finally got round to it on a better PC. Looks a little dated now but the San Francisco city looks glorious still, good open world map you see somewhere and just go to it, Alcatraz is great to sail out to and explore. The hacking in Watchdogs 2 is fun, the NPCs are just down right hilarious at times whether your hacking their phone texts or when you can call in the cops or a gang to take out someone whos rude to you, i saw one lady pull her car over and take a baseball bat and attack the car behind her with some hilarious dialogue...theres a lot of skills to get as the game goes on, good missions and side missions i never really got bored of doing them. Theres a few weapons to chose from but they dont really fit in to this type of game in my opinion, but the 2 drones in the game add an ext...

The core game is fantastic, but Ubisoft really shouldn’t be selling it anymore, especially at full price. On modern Nvidia GPUs, the experience is ruined by severe flickering shadows. There’s a workaround on PCGamingWiki for the 3000 and 4000 series that addresses the skybox flickering, but daytime shadows (for example on buildings) still flicker so badly that it makes the game unplayable in my opinion. Another “fix” is to run it through DXVK, but that disables multiplayer and severely impacts performance. And on the 5000 series, the game is even more broken. I say this as someone who could be called a Ubisoft apologist — I genuinely enjoy (almost) all their games and usually defend them. But selling this title in its current state is not acceptable. Either fix it, or remove it from sale.

A great game completely ruined on PC by screen flickering that is incredibly distracting & was apparently never fixed. Cheers Ubisoft.

Unable to play due to Ubisoft Connect issues. Talked with Ubisoft Support and they refused to transfer the game to the correct Connect profile. Third party software is an inherently flawed and disgusting practice that should be removed by all companies. You are making a product, not an experience. Pull your head out of your rear.

Just like a game I played once and really enjoyed so I went and played it again. Get Watch Dogs 2 Extended mod if possible
