About the Game
The world is over. But it's not quite over for you... at least, not yet. And now that you've got thousands of tonnes of locomotive at your disposal, you've got the definite advantage over the infected hordes. This is The Final Station.
The real question is whether or not you'll help the survivors get to their destinations.... or let them die and loot their bodies. Sometimes people can be more trouble than they're worth.
- A post-apocalyptic adventure about travelling a dying world on a train
- A story that goes through 5 chapters, with large inhabited stations at the end of each one.
- Infected are ready to stop your progress whenever you exit the train to look for supplies
- Maintain your train in operating condition and craft valuable items from the resources you scavenge
- Don't expect to shoot your way through the crowds of infected. Supplies and ammo are very limited
- Pick up survivors along the way, gaining perks (and hindrances) for your troubles
- Scavenge for loot at stations and craft useful supplies
- Sell your loot at inhabited stations for useful upgrades to your weapons

Its a good game but it can't compare to the movie were 2 turkeys go back in time to the first thanksgiving to get turkeys off the menu
yes but apparently dlc is needed for full story.
I wish i could give a neutral rating. It's a VERY short game, and the way the story is told through the characters onboard the train is good in theory - but in practice you end up missing half of it because you're too busy managing your train. The gameplay loop is interesting but can get boring fast, and the horror aspect is quite shallow. Also, there's a huge quantity of spelling errors in the english version. I wouldn't recommend buying it at full price but i do think it's a game worth trying
Played back in 2017, stellar little game that won't take more than 10 hours with gorgeous pixel art, an immersive OST and an enjoyable mix of gameplay between resource management and 2d platforming/exploration/combat
great story
Nice sound track, The art style was nice. Good little Gem
As a fan of Strugatsky brothers I deeply respect developers for the universe, story and atmosphere they created. That's truly a masterpiece to tell such a deep story with quite a simple gameplay basis. I still replay this game once a few years. Really wish to see more games like that
This is the first ever game I bought on Steam and I'm only just now getting all the achievements, only because you have to beat the DLC multiple times. The atmosphere in this game is very special and is one of my all time favorites. The gameplay is meh to be honest but just the vibe alone makes me glad this was my first Steam purchase.
