"We kicked out the devil and it must miss us." Supernatural, but does not explain itself. Like at all. Three weird kids' experience of a religious summer camp for bad children. There is no love stronger than when outsider girls meet through no will of their own and then just kind of decide to stick together anyways. This game could very well be an inspiration for Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, and that is ultimate praise. "I don't like being liked by him. It makes me think there must be something wrong with me?"

About This Game
Before they can leave the summer scouts, they’ve got to spend twelve hours in the loneliest cabin in the woods and wait for the devil to come and live through the night--or not. You know.
A Surreal Summer Camp Dystopia
WE KNOW THE DEVIL is a Group Relationship Horror Visual novel created by weirdo games critic and indefensible twitter account haver Aevee Bee (Mammon Machine:ZEAL) and illustrator and comics artist Mia Schwartz, with a chilling 80s horror synth soundtrack by Alec Lambert (Antibody Productions), live photo backgrounds taken with disposable cameras in the terrifying woods where we live, and aesthetic touches and UI by Lulu Blue.WE KNOW THE DEVIL is a story about everyone who made you cry at summer camp. It’s about missing your Sailor Moon VHS tapes. It’s about how being irresponsible is contagious. It’s about knowing that in a group of three, two of you will be closer than the other.
And it’s about being weird and queer and wrong and hoping against hope no one will find out when the actual, literal devil comes for you.
Pick Your One True Pairing
WE KNOW THE DEVIL truly has no one protagonist; but someone will always be left out. It’s up to you to decide who that is. Instead of choosing a partner, you follow pairs of characters as they learn about themselves and wait for the devil to appear. Will Venus and Neptune stop hating themselves long enough to be friends? Will Jupiter finally tell Neptune what’s been on her mind? Will Venus and Jupiter make it to morning as the only good kids left alive?
Hopefully it turns out the way you want it to. Don’t forget: the price the two pay will be the third.

Content Advisory
Themes of isolation and alienation of queer youth in a religious rural setting. Abstract, psychological horror, and possibly alarming music.Screenshots
User Reviews
had some cool aesthetics, character sprites could use some work though. Felt like the story was pretty bare bones. Some interesting dialogue. Needed more flesh on good bones. not recommended.
i guess this is what happens when you combine magical girls and gay conversion summer camp highly recommended.
BORING AFFFF
Feel like this is what happens when you internalize God a little too much, you start making unreal things real just to feed into your shame. I couldn't 100% understand what was happening with all the "sirens" and stuff, though. I guess I figured it was an elaborate make-believe setup by the camp, which is kinda cool in a way. I liked the characters and dialogue. Neptune is indeed very cool. Edit: Ok, I went and got all the other endings, including the true ending. I'm picking up what they're putting down. This was a great queer story about overcoming shame and being true to yourself. Also, something Neptune says at one point stuck with me a bit. Along the lines of "you can't be thinking you're not a good person when you hate yourself, only someone who is good would hate themself so much."
