Planet Stronghold: Colonial Defense brings you back in time in the early settlement days of the Planet Stronghold colony.

By a bizarre coincidence, two captains, two siblings, get stuck in the same colony: Alex and Diana Nelson. Take control of one of them, and discover the mysteries and the dangers of Planet Stronghold, and the personalities of the various characters of your team.

The game features a big card-collectible gameplay part, easy to learn but hard to master. Upgradable cards brings even more replayability, especially at higher difficulty levels.

For those looking forward more to the story and visual novel/dating sim aspect, you can play the game in "Visual Novel Mode" and enjoy the game dialogues and the beautiful painted artwork style: there are eight characters to befriend, and if you play your cards right, romance!

A simple but fun VN/deck-building card game. It's worth it, but not at full price. Tbh, it's only worth it when you get at least a 75% discount. The story is engaging, but there are some (big) plot holes. The VN experience is okay; sadly, many decisions feel like they don't matter... or, even worse, in the next scene, it goes on with shallow, undefined words, so you clearly see it's made to fit all decisions, no matter how they differs. From time to time, the characters are just kind of too informal. I mean, it's a military sci-fi scenario similar to MassEffect. But occasionally, the characters joke around in rather inappropriate situations or make flirty hints totally out of nowhere. A bit unpleasant is also that the figures on screen don't always match the ones speaking, and there are so many people involved in all scenes that it takes more concentration to play this VN than a VN should require. The card game is okay. The deck-building is a bit limited; e.g., the deck is just ar...
