Update: I requested (and received) a refund for this game. This is honestly the first time I have ever requested a refund on anything. I sincerely hope the developer works to patch this game and make some much-needed improvements. My original review follows: When I read in the description that this game "follows in the footsteps of...Alien Breed or Shadowsgrounds," I was super-psyched. The two Shadowgrounds games and three Alien Breed games are my favorite top-down shooters of all time. However, my excitement quickly gave way to disappointment and, after about 70 minutes of play time, I cannot in good conscience recommend this game. There's a lot of potential here but the game feels like an unfinished late-alpha or early-beta release. The setting is good (if unoriginal) and the beginning of the story is somewhat intriguing (if uninspired) though I don't think I played long enough to evaluate how any of that pans out. Even so, it's hard to care much because of the horrendous vo...

About This Game
Crash Landing is simple top-down shooter game set in a sci-fi world, following in the footsteps of games like Alien Breed or Shadowgrounds. Multiple enemies, different weapons, changing environments, little more focus on the story, all is designed to keep the game fun and interesting.
Fight your way through hordes of enemies, explore, create weapons and follow the story in this little top-down shooter game.

This game has potential but is simply abandoned mid production and no one has ever finished testing this. Sad.
Should be Early Access. Lots of promise but boy, is it ROUGH around the edges.
Good game. Can tell the developer put a lot of time into it. Great art style. Few small things I would recommend changing: - The protagonist voice acting is pretty dull. Would recommend looking at that. - Auto-reload of weapons. I think it would make sense to do what other games do: reload weapons automatically. - Doors opening automatically when player is in proximity. I sometimes have to bump into doors to open them. - I didn't like the bugs showing up behind me in rooms I had already cleared. But overall, I like the artstyle and there are some slick elements to the game; especially for an indie. Would recommend checking out.
Crash is an appropriate word to use in the title of this game because crashing is most definitely what you will experience. This game is highly unstable and littered with major bugs such as escaping to the menu during the game often causing the game to lock up in a flashing blank screen and then a crash to the desktop. The resolution in this game also defaults to zero and does not save, so you have to reset the resolution every time you start the game. You also cannot play this game in 4k resolution on a 4k monitor or HDTV and you have to lower it down to 1080p or the frame rate will drop to around 10 fps when escaping to the menu during the game. The voice acting is also bad, there is no inventory system to manage, you cannot skip the intro cutscene, your character clips halfway through doors, pressing remapped keys works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't, melee is absolutely worthless, gunfire is just firing in the general direction of the enemy and hoping you hit it, you cannot zo...
The game is so boring...
