Little Reaper 💀 is a very polished puzzle action platformer. The 2.5D art style is cute and quirky yet beautiful. The soundtrack is vibrant and ties in well with each location. The plot is simple and the cutscenes could use a few more frames, but the game more then makes up for this with its handcrafted areas. While there are 4 main worlds, many of them are composed of several sub-biomes. For example, the Asphodel Meadows take place across a garden, giant treetops, crypt, and graveyard. Each of these has its own enemies and obstacles and atmosphere. Bosses guard each exit, requiring you to prove your mastery of each new ability. The game is quite forgiving, with multiple checkpoints and several hitpoints but is still tricky to master. The puzzles in the first two areas are mostly straightforward but get more challenging as you progress. I only found one bug, which they fixed within a day of my mention The controls are fluid and precise and as you progress you unlock more movemen...

Heaps of fun with a nice visual style and some interesting audio tricks. As soon as I got the ability to throw the scythe, platforming gets really fun and interesting. Great job Little Reaper Games!
As much as it pains me to say this...this game is just aggravating. The teleportation is annoying, the having to wait 10 seconds while it's saving is annyoying, you catch my drift. There are a bazillion other platformers on Steam. Get one of those.
Game is easy to pickup but takes a bit of skill to master the scythe teleportation mechanic, the backgrounds for each level have great detail, keen to finish the game!
This Platformer was a lot of fun! Makes you think in more challenging areas. Artwork is brilliant, can easily get lost playing this for hours! Definitely worth a buy!
i want to like this. I swear it was gonna be a great game, with a cute little death scythe teleporting all over, lots of fun ideas in the trailer. well. it's a bit stale? The controls feel flat, the animations are abysmal, to say the least ... the flagship mechanic to the game isn't even in the first level, although there's absolutely spots where you need to use it to collect souls. ( the scythe teleport move ) The progression felt horrible in level 1. I can barely handle playing past level 2, but I went through it, and it's just as unremarkable as level 1, only now you have the absolutely horrid scythe control to deal with. The menu is the plainest, most basic font you could use, and it's MICROSCOPIC. You travel through a level, and what they don't tell you is, you need ot kill blue and red enemies to collect blue and red souls for blue and red items with a skull icon on them ( to activate them ) and the green souls are just " for funsies " In real levels, yoiu are greeted b...
Great game, requires some practice to get good at. Boss fights are fun and difficult. Enjoying it so far. Played this a few times at PAX Au, got the plushy. Playing it at pax made playing the first level a bit weird at launch as I couldn't get the teleport to work. Ok though on later levels.
This is an extremely fun game to play with a very cool story line definitely recommend picking it up
Having played this at PAX Aus in 2019 it went straight on the wish list. A great little platform game with from what I've enjoyed so far, and has some good replay-ability with new unlocks making you want to go back to previous areas to find the hidden items and get those souls! I think the only disappointment I can give so far is the still frame FMV's and even then they're done to a degree where you see the message and get an adorable little killer return. Will update review as i get further in game
Really fun game! The art style and colours are so cute, overall a really addictive game!
