we need scam punishment mechanics
I’m assuming the majority of the negative reviews come from the fact that more was promised by the Devs before the release. I personally don’t know what these promises were, so I’m coming into the game not expecting anything. The game offers some pretty unique mechanics to this genre. The atmosphere feels good. There is a solid amount of complexity in the game. I have not experienced any bugs and the game feels polished. The tutorial as the part of the campaign is well done and I didn’t find myself stuck at any point of the game. I’m currently 6.5 hours into the first scenario and barely getting to 1st wave of the enemy attack. The game in its current state will offer plenty of hours of satisfying gameplay. It’s well worth it especially when you buy it on sale like I did (50% off). I have played a ton of games which were “complete” and were a total garbage in comparison to this game. The devs should be really careful about making any kinds of promises for the game...
I'm not sure what people are still complaining about. The game itself is awesome. It is fun. I knew about the game earlier but was able to enjoy it recently only. Pros: + Gameplay + Nice story + Good management system + Dynamic + It has SURVIVAL! Cons: - The development on this game stopped - No future updates will be given Overall: It's solid 8/10
Industries of Titan is a lot of fun to me. It definitely pushes the "just one more round" button over and over again. I played it in Early Access and came back after the 1.0 release. There's a lot of good resource management and if Brace Yourself wanted to make a sequel, it has the bones to build off of and add to different elements. As a 4X survival game it gives you different resources and a currency to work with. There are different means of earning each and not every map is conducive to one type of game. It requires you to think and adapt in each campaign missions but there are "favours" granted to you to make some parts a little easier. The Zen mode is great for just zoning out and getting into a flow state where you play with the game's resource management and build the thriving colony of your dreams. Overall, Industries of Titan is a 4X game with a audio and text logs that act as a a subversion of the unchecked capitalism that comes with space colonization. It's a lot o...
