Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 3 (2011)

The campaign was one of the best I've played, but nothing tops MW2, and the MWIII remake seems totally different and even a bit longer than this.. Overall, it's a pretty solid game

This review is negative because: A. The game is 14 years old, and the price is ridiculous. B. The RCE exploits issue has been going around for ages (I only played campaign so I think I'm safe). But anyway, this issue makes it a risk to play multiplayer. C. It's incredibly difficult to buy. It's hard to find it on the store, and when I bought it, it didn't even consider it a game. I have auto collections for unplayed games, but Steam doesn't even detect it as a game! Another bad thing, which is not Activision's fault, is that the graphics are very 2011. It looks incredibly dated with that sepia filter, and also horrible to look at. It's almost monochromatic. Anyway, I wanted to close the story, and to be fair the campaign is great. It's very fun, lots of action, really peak CoD tbh. This trilogy is great. OFC the best one is 2, but this one is very good too.

Another short, mediocre and severly overpriced CoD game. $60 ($20 on sale) for a 14 year old game? Pathetic. 12 hours to complete.

Came for Modern Warfare 3, Stayed for World War 3. MW3 is about WW3. You'll fight through Paris, New York, London and many more places in this insanely high budget high production quality FPS. Carrying on from MW3, there are quite a few loose thread to wrap up. Which is something I feel doesn't work as well here. As Prices team hunts down the man responsible for the war, we occasionally switch over to soldiers fighting in the war. And I've gotta say the actual war levels are a whole lot more interesting. This game just feels like It's telling two different stories and the one we've bee following for two games is just taking a bit of a back seat. Still awesome though and satisfying conclusion to the series if not a slight pump on the breaks from the absolute highs of MW2.

all mw games are amazing and 3 is a really solid finale. doesn't quite live up to the other two but it's still great, especially the visuals. 8/10 story with 9/10 gameplay(tbh i wish they kept leaning left and right from the old games)
