bought little nightmares 1 in 2019, finally writing a review while waiting for 3 :3 these games will forever keep me company. in my lowest moments, little nightmares has always comforted me in its uncomfortable and scary atmosphere. while i want to pull my hair out trying to 100% it, i will continue to play it for years to come.

About the Game
The Little Nightmares series has been captivating millions of players worldwide since 2017. Now it’s your turn to try to survive the first entry in most charming horror series ever made.
Take on the role of Six, a lone child lost in a massive metal vessel known as the Maw, surrounded by dangerous, distorted versions of adults. You’ll need to do your best to escape in one piece or your fate will be worse than you ever dared dream.
OBSERVE YOUR SURROUNDINGS
You wake up in a damp, dark room. Your sole possession is a brass lighter. You have no memory of how you got here, but it’s clear that you are in danger. Only your keen eyes and quick wits can get you out in one piece.
FIND AN ESCAPE ROUTE
This world is not meant for children, but you can use your stature as an advantage with a bit of imagination. Climb drawers and shelves to find child-sized passageways through The Maw too tiny for the adults to reach and you’ll be safe… at least for a while.
AVOID THE RESIDENTS
The inhabitants of the Maw have only one use for children, and it’s never pretty. Children who don’t want to get caught should stay hidden and move carefully when they’re around. Under certain circumstances, a distraction might avert their attention long enough for you to scuttle away scott-free. Be careful, if you accidentally make too much noise, the Residents are quite determined once you’ve caught their eye.
RUN FOR YOUR LIFE
Sometimes, there’s no other choice but to run. If you can stay alive long enough to get somewhere the Residents can’t reach you, you might survive.
Can you make it through the Maw to freedom? Six is counting on you. Good luck, little one.

User Reviews
Little Nightmares has been a game I heard lots of good things about for a long while and finally, I had my opportunity to play it. All I can say is it's definitely a decent time, but not a main game material at all. It feels more like a snack or side game than anything. I like how the game was designed, and I definitely enjoyed it, but I would be lying if I said the clunkiness of the movement and unreliability of platforming parts didn't affect me at all. One other problem was how vague everything sometimes feels; I felt like I had to die at least once to get over the obstacles in my way and I don't think it's a healthy thing to see in a game. Even with all of that, I would still recommend you all play it. It's definitely a good time, but don't expect anything crazy from the gameplay. Every other thing is really cool though, especially the dark themes and how different and special the game looks. The DLCs are a little bit problematic with examples like forcing you to return to checkpoi...
Little Nightmares is a wonderful game with a great story to it, with lots of tense moments, and the overall game does it really well keeping a creepy atmosphere all the way through! The stages are really intense and certainly keeps you in your seat.
Been gathering dust in my library for years. I had no idea I was sleeping on something this unforgettable.
Absolutely loved it. An atmospheric horror as it should be. The visuals are from that sort of games that look good even decades after release. The game is small, up to 5 hours of gameplay — it depends on how quickly you find a way to progress and how many times you die because of controls, but considering the size of the game, there’s really no point in judging the controls (in fact, they are bad, quite inconvenient sometimes). I didn’t quite get the lore or what was going on in general, but the finale was pretty epic and I liked it.
AMAZING GAME
I played this game on nintendo back in around 2018 and I loved this game. I came back to this game because the third one is coming out soon and i wanted to beat both of the games before the third one comes out. This game is still as great as ever, the controls are sometimes buggy when i tired picking up a key but that barley happened. The "boss battles" are really fun and never feel to challenging and its always fun when you beat them. However the game in itself isnt that long. for me it took 1:30 minutes I would recommend you to try this game.
★★★★★★★★☆☆ (8/10)
Amazing story, puzzles, chases. Overall one of the best games ever made
A good game although the story was shorter than i expected it to be.
I played this game on the switch and decided to revisit it on PC. It i still such a cool imagination and artistic take on horror. I can't wait till number 3 comes out to continue this awesome franchise! It is a lot smaller of a story than I remember but it is probably because of me already knowing what I'm doing and whats to come XD For all newbies who love a good tension horror, this is a perfect game! The art style itself is so creepy and the mechanics in order to not get caught leaves your heart in your throat. I will say for controller users, be careful about depth perception in game. It has always had difficulty since release that you can fall off of edges really easily. So make sure you keep your character on the path!
Fun game! Loved the ambience although the gameplay has a few issues
