I know no one will see this review but... this games story is incredible, I would elaborate but that would spoil content. Out of all the steam games I could recommend, I recommend this one. play the game completely blind and make sure to actually read dialog.

10/10 story, great music, cute characters and visuals. Terrible level design. Way too much walking and pointless rooms/spaces. Jaw dropping ending. Mixed bag

I bought this game, played a little, and then forgot about it. For nine years. But the game remembered me and Niko was waiting patiently for my return. Even after all this time and everything that's happened to me, I still cared. And I wanted to continue our mission. OneShot is truly special; a dark and precious gem with a haunting score, gorgeous pixel art and some rather unique mechanics. At a glance, it's an apocalyptic yet cozy little scavenger hunt. It's also more than it appears to be. I hope you'll discover why for yourself.

If you haven't played this game before, stop reading the reviews. Trust me on this, you don't want anything spoiled. All you need to know is that it's a really well done game that'll take you some time to finish but is very much worth the effort. This is one of, if not my favourite game of all time. Now go play.

i have never felt such extreme emotions from what initially seems like just a simple text-based puzzle-solving rpg. this game is so indescribably unique in its mechanics and how it serves to make you (yes YOU) an active participant in the world outside of just controlling the protagonist. playing this game across three nights in long sessions, followed by replaying the new game content in ONE single night, had me bawling my eyes out at the end of both runs. i have well and truly never cried this hard at a video game in my entire life. this is a work of art, and it deserves so much attention even a decade after its initial release. thank you so much for lending me this experience as it will live with me for the rest of my life.

This is hands down one of the best games I’ve ever played. The story is incredibly moving and the atmosphere is hauntingly beautiful. Niko, the main character, is one of the most lovable and memorable protagonists I’ve ever encountered. I got really attached to them. Both endings left me in tears, each in their own way. I would 100% recommend OneShot to anyone. If you're looking for a game that connects with you on a personal level, this is it. You will not regret playing it. 10/10.

if there was ever a library of best art pieces of humanity this game would be in it. One of the best games story wise i have ever. And even though i only played for 6 hours the expirience is more influential than most other media. Simply put - this is a kind of piece of art that stays with you forever (edit 1 day later) NIIIIIKOOOOOOO
