This is game is to put it simply, a pile of shit wrapped in gold paper. The game starts nicely, and you do kinda look forward to it. But then you realize one simple thing, this game is pointless mix of pointless things put together. 1. Campaign -> Fight, Grind, Fight, Grind aka tutorial. And it is not good at it. 2. Space map you are expecting epic space battles, but, enemy is simply keeping up with your level, aka if you can ride crusers enemy is full of crusers. It becomes so saturated that enemy fleets have like 10-15 dreadnaughts and u have like 5 capital ships. IF you use default weapons you will die, so you research your factions weapons and basically you could sit in a frigate and wipe everything. 3. Space map offers base building, which has no depth (pre-placed buildings with levels). Shipyards, but make ships from your main base MK2 per efficiency cost and either way they all die fast. 3. After finishing campaign, you could conquer the whole map, but what is the point, if ...

About This Game
Control your ship directly to show off your battle prowess. Aim and fire manually or command your gunners to do the job for you while you execute unique skills. Choose your companions to follow you into battle and if you need an extra hand, have your fleets join you in glorious combat. Battles in Warlords can vary from duels and small skirmishes to clashes of massive fleets in planetary orbits.
Construct ships and assemble your mighty war fleets to pitch them against the other war-mongering factions of Gemini, but be mindful of the situation you're sending them into. A seemingly weaker fleet can be accompanied by warmasters, well-trained specialists that can sway the battle in their favor, but fear not, you can have your fleet follow you so you can lead them to victory!
Upgrade your headquarters with additional modules to produce more advanced weapons and enhancements, develop new ships leading up to the station-size Proxima, unlock new structures and activate various bonuses that influence all of your territory. You are the leader of your people and a powerful leader deserves a stronghold.
Spread your influence and increase your resources by expanding your territory, but don't stretch your defenses too thin or your enemies might take advantage. Territory can be fortified and improved by building various resource and defense structures. Expand the T-Gate network to make your fleets travel across your ever-growing empire faster. A timely arrival can make all the difference.
Begin your adventure on a small, agile gunship and work your way up to a massive carrier class capable of deploying numerous fighter wings. Upgrade your chosen vessel of destruction with a plethora of weapons and enhancements. And to finish it all off, throw a coat of paint on it to get that perfect vessel you always wanted.

User Reviews
Material starved from the fleets you eventually get leveled up with weak fleets and don't have the resources to replenish losses and you cannot expand further due to battleships showing up when you can't even afford destroyers.
TLDR: Pros: + Grow your factions + Upgrade your base + Different ships + Control fleets + Spend perk points Cons: - Interacting with other faction pointless, does nothing - No sense of exploration - No point in playing with a smaller ship - Weak story - No real ending/credits roll - Limited loadout customization for your ship Starpoint Gemini: Warlords offers some fun moments—especially when it comes to conquering the map, upgrading your base, and commanding big ships and fleets. The ability to spend perk points and manage your growing factions adds a bit of depth. But beyond that, the game’s claims of 4X strategy and RPG elements feel very thin. It’s more like a stripped-down Freelancer with a touch of Dawn of War 2’s make the tiles your colour feel rather than a full-fledged 4X or RPG experience. Interacting with other factions is largely pointless and doesn’t impact the game in any meaningful way. There’s almost no sense of exploration, and playing with smaller ships ...
It was pretty fun. Story - 6/10 Nothing new or groundbreaking. Overall it was fun and didn't overstay its welcome. Progression - 3/10 Not too fun imo. You need larger and larger ships to progress the story and for some of them unlocking can take a long time if you don't want to do trade runs (which are super repetitive and boring). A larger ship can be upwards of 80,000,000Cr and most high paying missions will pay about 3,000,000Cr on the upper end and some extra on top for killing ships or selling loot. Mining can be decent income but not by much. Bounty hunting is more of a supplement. Out of all the tasks, trading is the only one that makes progression take a semi-reasonable amount of time. I rate this so low because progression outside of a boring activity takes a really long time. Trade - 2/10 It isn't fun. There is no dynamic economy, no simulation, no changes overtime, etc. A planet will buy the same item for the same price no matter what and T-gates eliminate at ris...
