So many world corruptions that make this game unplayable. Every hour i get a corrupted world and loose all my progress. If this is fixed i will update this review. Edit: They fixed the problem and seem to take what is said and change things fast we will see how it goes. Edit 2: The dev is working to make the game better and more customizable, thought this game already is very customizable. Make the world yours

If you've ever played the browser, text-based game "A Dark Room" It's basically that, but with graphics. It's still a bit buggy as the author is still adding/removing/breaking/fixing features. EDIT: The game is now stable with no new features being added regularly to cause breakage. My only complaint about the gameplay would be that the charm of A Dark Room was that you could set it and let your supplies accumulate while you did other things, but the slowness of the decorating means you are active the whole time if you want a nice looking village. It's a good game if you need a mind-numbing, theraputic relaxation game that doesn't require much thought or effort, but you still want the illusion of accomplishment. EDIT: Now that the "Advanced Equipment" menu has been fixed (in ~24 hours after it was broken by an update) I was able to make better equipment to remove/place tiles much faster meaning the building is not as slow once the game picks up and you have more time to relax.
This is a really good game (I also played 3 or 4 hours of the demo). The complaints about it are, in my opinion, unfair. It delivers what it promises... a casual, 2D Strategy/RPG. You gather resources, fight, build, craft... the movement IS slow, but its pretty much in line with similar 2D games. The crafting and harvesting time is slow, but only at first. As you progress and are able to build better and better tools, things change. I think that may be the root of the negative reviews... people who are used to instant gratification or a pay2win store where they can just purchase the top level gear and bypass having to work your way up in a game This game is fun. But make no mistake, it is a casual game (perfect for watching videos or having a drink or BOTH). What really struck me about this game, is the genuine feeling of accomplishment I got when I was finally able to build a new building, or craft a new item. But what really stuck with me was the feeling I got when I finally had...
I'm enjoying the game so far (I'd give it an average score), however I do have some suggestions to vastly improve gameplay: -Craftable Tools (Allowing for speed up of recource gathering). -Weapon Textures during battle to have a visualization of what you have accomplished in crafting. -Plantable saplings to regrow trees (I haven't yet run out of trees, but the ability to regrow trees would be awesome for Decoratvie purposes) -Tameable creatures; Creatures you tame in order to battle with/for you. -Visible vilage population, as the village looks deserted dispite having villagers working for you. I can say that I am happy about modding potential of the game also.
Purchase if you like supporting Indie Developers
That being said, Your Quest is a good game. It's challenging and time consuming but in a fun way. Imagine an Idle game mixing with Darksouls, in an RPG village building system. It reminds me of my old SNES days. Pros:

the Developer and community respond quickly. I've seen bugs patched or suggestions implimented the same day they were reported or suggested.
Retro style graphics
Idle game themes
Dungeon crawling
Village Building
Highly modable game, you can change the graphics, resource requirements, level requirements, create new enemies or items, basically whatever you can imagine!
Cons:

There were bugs early on. but they have all been fixed.
It can take some time to learn. there is now a tutorial which helps
Once you've beaten the game there isn't much left. but that takes a while to accomplish and is a true achievement [...
The game is really good especially with the addition of the tutorial and mentor only concerning problem is that the game crashes/closes all on its own but this happens very rarely and may just be my computer acting up but looking into it may be a good idea.
Hallo Folks, First of all , this is not funny ,,, they stolen 30 Stone by the others ,,,after this ...they have stolen my complete iron .... this is not funny again ,,,,still I try please stop saving games automatic ... every minute ...this is not funny still I try on I gained Stonesword after all and fur amour first Dungeon adds two Diomands hope they won´t be stolen hehe
I normally don't go through the trouble to write a review for something but I feel this game is an exception. I posted an issue on the discussions page and I saw it addressed within 24 hours. I really like that I can play this game with my X360 controller. Overall this is a very fun game and a very nice developer to support. Several months later and now I am very angry with the developer. He doesn't listen to the community anymore; he has ceased pretty much all development on the game and the game has tons of bugs. The game runs on XNA which is no longer even existant because it sucked so bad so really my computer meets the requirements but the game launches with a pink screen on my newer computer and I can't get passed it and I am having to use a 10 year old computer that can run the game and my game that I saved is just gone because everytime I try to load it, it just crashes the game so I lost about 36 hours invested into this stupid game. If the developer adds anything more, it pr...
the game feels a little slow but yes its a pretty cool concept
