About This Game

When the Earth falls to an extra-terrestrial invasion, humanity becomes an endangered species. Earthfall is a four-player cooperative shooter that challenges players to survive hordes of ruthless alien drones and their inscrutable masters.

Traverse the Pacific Northwest with friends or AI teammates in a desperate guerilla war against an invading extraterrestrial force. Fight against the ever-changing horde and save what’s left of humanity.

Utilize futuristic weaponry, upgrade deployable barricades with fire or electricity, control mounted turrets, and battle through 15 levels of story-driven co-operative play.

Hardcore Co-op -- Drop in, drop out, and engage in classic four-player co-operative gunplay inspired by the greatest co-op games of our time.
Death from Above -- Fight the horde, a procedurally generated alien menace that makes every gameplay session tense, exciting, fresh, and utterly lethal.
Well-Armed Allies -- Battle through an alien invasion using advanced weaponry, constructible defenses, and printable guns.

When the world ends, the fight begins!

If you’re a fan of L4D, this will feel very familiar. Move from safe house to safe house, fight off sporadic hordes, and encounter special enemies that share clear inspiration from L4D. The characters interact with each other, dropping bits of lore along the way. But story was pretty mid. I actually don't even remember it lol Weapon choices are pretty standard, but the game is fun with its special weapons, like the mini gun, turrets, and the ability to drop barricades, which added an amount of strategy to some encounters. The alien designs are actually pretty cool, especially the equivalents to boomers, spitters, hunters, and tanks. But blackout was my favorite! That said, the game isn’t without issues. There are occasional technical hiccups, including random connection drops. And DO NOT play this solo. The bots are pretty bad, even when you max out their AI. If you enjoy co-op horde shooters grab this on sale, its fun playing with a buddy or full squad. Just don’t go in expe...
