Absolutely terrible version of the game. Randomly crashes a ton and the audio is completely broken with both low quality audio and enemy positioning being wrong. Enemies that are behind you will sometimes sound like they're in front of you, enemies in another room over will sometimes sound like they're next to you and so on. Bioshock is supposed to be cinematic and have tension and all that goes out the window with bad audio. The "remastering" work is incredibly lazy too, most of the redone textures were lazily upscaled and there's many random visual and lighting bugs around the game that weren't there in the original. Just stick with the original

BioShock: A Riveting Dive into a Sunken Utopia BioShock, a gem offers a surprisingly fun and immersive gameplay experience. From a thrilling arsenal of weapons to masterfully crafted levels, BioShock keeps you hooked. The game seamlessly blends gunplay with the use of Plasmids (special powers). Each weapon and Plasmid boasts unique upgrades, allowing you to customize your approach to combat. Whether you unleash a hail of bullets with the Machine Gun or freeze your enemies with the Ice Plasmid, BioShock's combat mechanics feel fluid and innovative. But BioShock is more than just shooting Splicers (the game's deranged inhabitants). The atmosphere is what truly sells the experience. With its hauntingly beautiful environments and chilling audio logs, BioShock masterfully builds a sense of dread and intrigue. The story, pieced together through audio logs and environmental details, is rich and thought-provoking. In Conclusion: A Must-Play for Gamers If you haven't experienced...

I have to say that the Bioshock trilogy is hands down one of the best games released since they released it on Xbox 360. I cannot even remember how many times I have played and completed all 3 of these games. One of the best games by far!!

This game has been an an obsession for me recently. The gameplay is addicting, the graphics are great, and the story is really interesting. Kinda crazy how I overlooked this game for so long.... P.S: PLEASE BUY THIS RATHER THAN SOME COD GAME OR SMTH

This is my 3rd play-through of this game over the years and I have to do it justice by sharing my opinion of it. 10/10 Masterpiece. The series as a whole is also great but the 1st is my personal favorite. If your just starting it out for the first time, don't spoil your experience, just go into it as blind as possible. You won't regret it. Now, would you kindly like my review?

A large shot of nostalgia is required to swallow this pill. Bioshock is spoken of with incredibly high regard, for a game of 2007, its deserving of the praise. however, as a newcoming in 2025. This game does not hold up. its lineage is clearly seen in the games industry and it has done immensely well in such regard to become foundational to the genre. Stuck it out to the finish line. the mechanics are clunky. the shooting is unsatisfactory. the inventory (or moreso lack of) is frustrating, and the constant repetition of enemy dialogue, Over, and over and over again, infuriating. and ending the game on a highnote, an incredibly slow escort quest, with an NPC repeating the same dialogue ad infinity. A frustrating game to finish, with a greatly overhyped setting and narrative, however, an important part of game development history

Top notch gameplay, amazing story, a great analysis of the absurdity of objetivism, all wrapped in a neat package layer with some sprinkles of RPG, but at its core, a superb FPS through and through.

I mean, it's Bioshock. It came out a long time ago. By now, if you haven't played this game or somehow just haven't heard of it altogether....well then there's really not much I can do to help usher your soul to the fields of Elysium. You're simply....damned.
