Decent enough action rogue-like, but not terribly difficult, and unless I'm missing something, extremely easy to beat. I could be mistaken, as I wasn't paying much attention to the stage progression really, but there's really only 8 levels to the game, and the last level is just a final boss fight. There are also a couple of very annoying problems with the verticle hit box for the player character, and it is possible to get stuck by one pixel on a corner of a block while you're trying to manuever away from a monster or shot, which is really annoying. Not permenantly stuck mind you. It really isn't fair to compare this to Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, but they are essentially the same game. If you come into this expecting BoI:R level production values and cotent then you're going to leave disappointed, but if you want a simple game that's basically the same experience, gameplay wise as BoI:R, then it's worth the price of admission. I would honestly use this game as a cheap example of...

Fun little rogue-lite with a lot borrowed from Binding of Isaac. Controls feel very tight and responsive, and visually the retro feel to it looks great. If you enjoy BoI or similar games, add this to your collection.
Needs a LOT more refinement. It's a nice time sink for the price. Perhaps some unlockables and extra characters to show a progression to the game? Definetly a nice change from long range combat with tears and throwing weapons from other games. Music is kind of ... Bad though.
Its a really simple little realtime Roguelike. Think The Binding of Isaac with pixels and a fantasy theme. AFAIK, there's no story beyond "KILL THE MONSTERS, LOOT THE DUNGEON". Start a game, youre in a random dungeon, with a random layout and random mobs and loot. Theres a seed number in the corner of the pause menu and a start option to enter a seed number, so if you find a layout you like, you can replay it. The game itself is fast paced, lots of enemies and projectiles zipping around. Enemy types vary, and they change between level types (as you go deeper the levels change look and mobs). Art is pixel style. Nothing too spectacular. You can tell what everything is you see though, although for some reason your weapon isnt actually held by your char but arcs out in a half circle around him. Musics pretty good, and the sound effects are what you'd expect from a game like this. The map is set up like the dungeon levels of the Legend of Zelda, each screen is a room with doors leading ...
I think this game has been lost to time. But it is very very good.
Nice roguelike but very simple. Rooms are not random, but they are chosen from a fixed selection, and there are not that many. The game is fairly easy. You can also try extra game options, infinite runs, time attack and boss rush. Definitely buy if you don't set your expectations too high, this is not a Binding of Isaac level but hence the low price. I also got a game crash several times, out of memory, but this rarely happens but can be annoying because your run is not saved.
Massive lag at certain points like when I pick up a new item. Decent game if not for the very severe bug I experienced
Faron's Fate is a pretty fun game. Some aspects and mechanics are pretty well made (specifically the slide bar to prevent voiding your save file) and some parts of the game are actually pretty well made. That being said, some aspects of the game are not very well made or fleshed out, and the game suffers as a result. Some enemies and bosses (the final boss especially) are quite tedious and difficult to defeat, causing the game to fall flat. I would recommend this game to people, however for it to be more of a fun experience, some things would need to be improved on to make the game better.
Meh.
good game, 9/10
