Could have been cute ...
What could have been a heartwarming, stress-relieving indie platformer is undermined by one glaring flaw: the controls are frustratingly unresponsive and janky.
... but I ragequit
The length of the game is short but it's actually really fun. To be honest, finding and setting the caged cats free was easier than collecting all the fishbones for the achievements. The cats that Kimchi met are all well designed and unique. The game is definitely worth it when it's on discount, additionally, some of the profit seems to be going to animal welfare associations.

I tried really, really hard to love this. It's super cute! Cameos by real cats! Emotional storyline, and told through pictures, not words! Piano music minigame! Unfortunately, controls and playability (execution) will always outweigh concept. This game has the loosest controls in any platformer I've ever played, and then Level 5 is about 85% precision platforming with insta-death drops. Choose your jump "mode" for the session, you can't change it without quitting the game (I understand this was a later addition, and poorly integrated). And there's a weird glitch that keeps maxing out the FX volume whenever you pause the game. Even with the flaws, the game is short enough that it doesn't get overbearingly frustrating, but the control issues are frustrating enough that even the really cute piano minigame (definitely the best part of this game) doesn't quite redeem it. I can't recommend this particular game, but I'm looking forward to checking out their newer games.
