About This Game

You are the manager: Whether it's tactics, contracts, sponsors, or stadium upgrades: Determine the future and the success of your club.

From fans, for fans: Club Manager is developed by fans with 20 years of experience and a passion for soccer.

Editor on board: With the integrated editor, you can create your own teams or edit existing jerseys, players, and club names that are included with the game.

Since its debut a year ago, Club Manager has been one of the most popular football management games for the PC. Its successor Club Manager 2016 offers not only a more modern interface, but also a number of new features and upgrades: Intervene in the team's tactics during a live game, specify additional gameplay modes, or hold your own tournaments. Furthermore, the transfer market, the promotion and relegation system and the difficulty levels have been revamped. Apart from additional club statistics, players now also have the option of customizing their jerseys.

Lead your team to victory with the right tactics:
  • Getting started: Launch your career in one of 8 leagues.
  • Strategy: Comprehensive contract, training, and lineup system for your players and team.
  • Finances: Make decisions concerning player contracts, ticket sales, sponsors, and merchandising.
  • Development: Expand your domain from a simple amateur soccer field to a fully equipped stadium, including the relevant infrastructure.
  • Excitement: Configure your tactics in advance and motivate your players during half-time.
  • Tactics: Whether it's a "defensive deadbolt" or a "battering ram" — you decide which strategy to play.
  • Transfer market: Purchase and sell players under realistic conditions.
  • Goals: As the manager, you will need to strive to meet the board's season requirements.
  • Tournaments: Create your own tournaments and invite major clubs to play.
  • Statistics: Comprehensive statistics will help you rise to the top of the league tables.
  • Budding new talent: Train and foster new talent for your future success.
  • Employees: Manage your entire team of training staff and delegate tasks.

Features

  • Classic football manager with an eye for the essentials
  • Club Manager has everything that a good football manager needs: Whether it's tactics, statistics, a transfer market, stadium upgrades, advertising, merchandising, developing the stadium periphery, fostering new talent, training sessions, or training camps.
  • Comprehensive league system: 8 leagues including numerous championships in almost 200 countries.
  • Powerful editor: Comprehensive customization options which also allow you to modify player and club names, including jerseys.
  • From fans, for fans: Club Manager is developed by fans with 20 years of experience and a passion for soccer.

Note: Even though the game includes almost 200 soccer nations, Club Manager focuses primarily on the German football league system.

I was so excited to hear this game was coming out. It reminded me of my all time favorite game, Ultimate Soccer Manager. That came out back in the 90's. I'm sadden to say, this is a washed up version of it. Yes, it does have the potential to be a good, if not great game! However, I think they should go back to the drawing board and work on it a little more. It does remind me of Ultimate Soccer Manager, but there need to be more clubs and leagues associated with it. I'm hoping the game will get better as time goes on. I'm disappointed with some of the simple spelling errors you notice in the game, however it does keep you entertained for a few hours at least. After that, you loose interest. I would give this game a 2.5 out of 5 stars. It's on the right track, but just misses the finish line.

8.1/10 (I rarely ever give 8 or higher for a game) Best manager sim ever. I have played a ton of manager sims (FIFA manager, Football Manager, GoallineBlitz, Blackout Rugby, Powerplay Manager, HSU (Heartland Soccer Union), coupled with dynasty modes in games like Rugby Challenge 1 and 2; EA sports NHL, FIFA, Madden,...; 2k series, PES series, ... and without question this game is superior. The problem with most online manager sims is that you have to wait for games sometimes hence why a non-online one should be superior. Football manager and FIFA manager had far too many issues with gameplay (football manager was especially horrendous at this) and horrible options respectively (FIFA manager) to make their games any fun. Any dynasty mode is never indepth enough to really do a manager sim justice. You have the league, the juniors, and that is usually about it if even that good... That leaves this game...as superior as it is better in all regards to the stuff above (well FIFA gam...

Horrible, horrible game. No real players, no real positions for strikers, wingers, wing backs, midfielders, attackin- or defending midfielders. not possible to make any basic tactics for your line ups. And even if you play at very easy level, it's very hard to win even with better squad, no matter what kind of strategy you put out. believe me, i tried for 30 hours to win one game. My squad energy was 100 % and stamina was 100%. all the players had moral of 100%. overall strenght of my line up was 46,9 and opponents was 41,2. even when my team was on winning streak, and this was just on division 7, i could not win my opponent. I can accept defeat, if my choises were bad or my squad was too weak., but to make a game player frustrated this way, is just really, really, poor programming. Saddest thing about this whole thing is, that I actually paid for this game. DON'T USE MONEY TO GET THIS GAME!!! I've been playing football manager games for over 20 years and this game is just sad,,...

The game is good to play if in my opinion is fair. Why do I say that? You have a team that is 5 or 6 points above than your opponent and looses, and not only once, but 4 or 5 times. You have a better GK, and DEF, and it doesn't do it. the craziest is that the stamina and energy in all your players is 100, and it does not do shit!. I wonder how the sistematics of this game works. Do I recommend the game?..It is fun to play, but you must have a lot of patience.

I love Club Manager 2015 and so I have given a chance to every other game in this line, and all of them have at best been either exactly the same (by that I mean nearly *exactly* the same not even a reskin), or a step backward. This one is a step backward. There's an issue with the screen size, where buttons often appear partly offscreen even if you have set the right resolution. 2015 had this problem too, the only issue it had, but they didn't fix it here. This game doesn't seem to work well with Steam, or something. When exiting it never exited in Steam, so it would show as running in Steam and I wouldn't be able to start it again until I restarted Steam. Likewise, I had bought the Club Manager 2017 dlc and couldn't get it to work, even when I went into Steam and the DLC and set the game to specifically load the Club Manager 2017 version of the game. Other than that it seems to be almost identical to Club Manager 2015 except now you can get fired and they added some dumb arbitrary...

The game doesn't support screens bigger than 1920x1080. Unfortunately, the game doesn't work. I don't recommend it.

If you dont expect too much, this game is great, in short its a "low budget football manager" there is a lot that needs to be done ofc, but it is a really decent game. There is a lot of things that you can do and i will recomend it to those that cant affort FM or those who dont expect too much of it.
